Nah. She was never in danger and was clearly faking it in the 60 minutes interview.
She’s nearly as soulless as Moscow Mitch. You think this is her first death threat? No way she gets the benefit of the doubt from me.
Yup, they evacuated everyone and told them hide due to the rampaging horde of morons out to stop the steal by any means necessary, which included bringing explosive devices and zip ties, where members of the police force supposed to defend the building were letting these people in, and a guy got into her office.
But yes, absolutely no danger whatsoever.

If you haven't watched CNN outside of North America, you'd be surprised. It's very different and a top notch production for reporting on the news. But in North America it's a completely different production because I think that's what the majority of the audience craves here. There's the opinion shows with Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo and they should be treated as that - opinion shows. They report on the news and then present their opinion on it. Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell are the same. They present their opinions on their shows and should be taken as such. Hannity, Maria Bartimoro and Tucker Carlson are all also opinion shows on the news. The NBC News stream on YouTube during the day has more reporting on the news like the old days but still has some level of bias sprinkled in, but isn't an opinion show like the ones mentioned before. I agree with the sentiment that PBS is the least biased of the big networks.
When I travel, I love watching CNN International. It's terrific coverage and less sensationalized than the North American version.

dont be a fool, there is no way they got in without the tacit help of the cops, she knew that, they all knew that, almost everyone there would have been expecting to be over run and captured, they werent to know that some cops were loyal
After watching it, I definitely disagree with the take that she was faking her emotion and "tears". While they walk through the offices in the interview, Pelosi also accounts how her staffers ended up locking themselves in an office, barricading the doors while the mob banged on the doors trying to break it down. They also had a clip of the mob saying Nancy's name as they walked through the halls, apparently looking for her.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure receiving a death threat in an email and having thousands of people kick in your front door and try to murder you are two completely different scenarios that warrant different reactions from the person that almost gets murdered

People should stop calling them zip-ties, they had restraints. It plays down the severity of what they had, what they were ment for. It's a bit like calling it a protest, when a riot and attempted coup is more accurate.
First she claims she refused to leave the house chamber first, against advice of the secret service, because she wanted to stay and protect democracy.
Then she very clearly faked a breakdown and “tears” claiming the desecration of the capitol hurt her personally because she’s so dedicated to this temple of democracy.
My 5 year old nephew is a better actor. It was so fake it was cringeworthy.
What a strange post. I watched it - she wasn’t bawling. She was choked up for a moment. She is 80 years old - she and her staff were threatened by terrorists.

Agreed. She and others were part of a traumatic event that day and her reaction is completely understandable and even predictable. Her staffers who were hiding under a table while the mob banged on the door trying to get in are going to have some issues resulting from that.

I am sure you are enjoying the pile-on already happening here, but:
You are wrong. And you should evaluate how you talk about people, especially 80 year old women. Even if you don't inexplicably like them. Even though you have never met them and have no idea who they are as a person.

Ahh yes, the point where the people who somehow thought they would be the special ones to not have their reputations ruined by Trump. Better luck next time!
