The nice thing for Democrats about how awful Trump and the GOP are is that it has provided some really great cover for their own shortcomings as politicians and people.

I’m not dictating how she feels. I’m making fun of her for pretending to score political points.
And I can do whatever I want and I can make fun of whoever I want. I can call her a faker all day long.
Just like you can flip out about it for no reason.

I don’t know man. I haven’t seen what you’re talking about, but...
I’m not really going to judge anyone who had their office broken into and ransacked.
Clearly these demons would have done unspeakable things to her or anyone associated with her if they had the opportunity to get close to her.

This is a good point. She has a bit of a history of empty political theatre, but it's probably unfair to lump this in with it.

You think there's any doubt that those cockwombles wouldn't have killed her if they got their hands on her, and that she hasnt spent the last 4 years knowing 10 or 15% of the most well armed country in the world wants to kill her? frankly to be a democrat target of these scumbags over the last few years has to have been utterly terrifying, I dont doubt any of them's commitment to democracy at this point
And when we are talking about them getting their hands on her we are talking maybe two or three doors and 40 or 50 feet of corridor between them, you wouldnt be in some level of shock if a mob off murderous morons broke through your houses front door as you ran out the back in fear of your life?

Yeah i just watched he Pelosi interview....really wasnt much there beyond her stopping for second as she was choking up to just gather her words and hold it together.
I get it. There were literally, 4 days ago, a bunch of extremists breaking into her workplace and a small group of which were roaming the halls hunting her . They were going to kill her...possibly in public by hanging at a gallow they had built outside her office.
I am no fan of her politics at all but anyone who goes through that gets a pretty wide berth for emotion when recalling it for the world to see 48 hours later.

If you haven't watched CNN outside of North America, you'd be surprised. It's very different and a top notch production for reporting on the news. But in North America it's a completely different production because I think that's what the majority of the audience craves here. There's the opinion shows with Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo and they should be treated as that - opinion shows. They report on the news and then present their opinion on it. Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell are the same. They present their opinions on their shows and should be taken as such. Hannity, Maria Bartimoro and Tucker Carlson are all also opinion shows on the news. The NBC News stream on YouTube during the day has more reporting on the news like the old days but still has some level of bias sprinkled in, but isn't an opinion show like the ones mentioned before. I agree with the sentiment that PBS is the least biased of the big networks.

Nah. She was never in danger and was clearly faking it in the 60 minutes interview.
She’s nearly as soulless as Moscow Mitch. You think this is her first death threat? No way she gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

Death threats are a bit different from thousands of angry people, some armed and with zip ties, from a group of people in the US who have a documented hatred for her, storming the building she's in.

Maybe, just maybe she has suspicions or even reliable Intel that she can't 100% rely on all the personnel in law enforcement whose job it is to protect her during an insurrection.

I haven't seen the interview. It sounds to me like you have a preexisting dislike, even hatred, for this woman. She's the same as McConnell? Really? He's worse than Trump except for the insurgency.

Someone with a tax rate above 40% would actually pay more than $2000 back into the system as a result of the adjustment (which is perfectly ok, considering there are folks who profited off the pandemic).

I had said I wasn't really stating real numbers, I was just saying if you are worried about universal programs being wasted on 6 figure incomes with who remained gainfully employed throughout this, you could play with the tax brackets until you effectively recoup the money from people who made X amount of money in 2020. It would be far easier than means tests, and would elliminate any worry about delays.
