I use it mainly as a replacement for an app like AirSharing. If I need a pdf or some other kind of document on my phone I just toss it in my dropbox. I've used it to call up flyers of competitor products in a store to get a price match or check an itinerary for a flight. It's also incredibly useful for sharing documents on the fly. I like that you can send a link with an expiration date to anybody you want.
I work almost exclusively out of my dropbox. I keep all my work in there which proves mighty important as the people I work with have a funny habit of absolutely NEEDING files from me while I'm on the train. Dropbox saves me that frustration.
You're right, it isn't a paradigm shifting app. I think it falls into the category of apps that save your ass, but only once every couple of months.

Just downloaded it and the push is indeed impressive. The ability to set it so that it sends you a notice if the game is close is
brilliant. Not sure how hot I am on the idea of paying 99 cents per month for that feature though. If it was included in the $2 pro version I'd probably buy it right now. I still prefer the layout of the SportsTap app though. I'm an Apple fan ... layout and prettiness trump damn near everything in my eyes.
