Thanks for the TSN suggestion. I appreciate it's sports variety. I was getting frustrated with the ESPN app.

Do you guys know if there is a reason none of the sports apps have hockey highlight videos? The Score App had video for NBA but not for NHL.

This drives me insane. Perhaps i'm extremely ignorant, but it just doesn't seem that hard to do.

I really hate the iphone as a gaming platform. Simple games i'm on board with (doodlejump, flightcontrol), but anything beyond that and I get very skeptical. I'm a giant fan of virtual keyboards for typing, but virtual buttons for games really bother me. This game is one I've always wanted to play though. I may have to think this one through.

Love the layout of the TSN app but without push it's borderline useless in my eyes. Sports apps with push are among my favourite things on my phone.

Alright, I had to join the party. I have my new iPhone 3Gs right next to me. Need to wait to get home to activate it with iTunes. Guess I have a lot of reading to do through this thread. Anyone have any recommendations off the top of their head for a brand new 32gb iPhone 3Gs?

Has anyone tried any of the various mind-mapping iphone apps? They're all a little expensive ($5 to $10) so I'd love to get a recommendation first. I'm leaning toward iBlueSky, but MindMeister Mobile also sounds good.

I prefer the layout and look of SportsTap, but I find the ESPN ScoreCenter app to be a little quicker with the updates. I don't really like the ESPN app beyond that though, the layout bothers me. Big points for having the Sportscenter jingle play with each push. Dadada! ... Dadada!

Sportstacular is an app I've replaced SportsTap with. The push options are just so much more specific, a huge upgrade over SportsTap in my eyes.

I absolutely love Dropbox for my PC/Mac combo, but for the life of me I can't see a point in downloading it for the iPhone/iPod Touch? In your opinion Russic is it really that good? Like what do you use it for? I'm really curious about this app.

I use it mainly as a replacement for an app like AirSharing. If I need a pdf or some other kind of document on my phone I just toss it in my dropbox. I've used it to call up flyers of competitor products in a store to get a price match or check an itinerary for a flight. It's also incredibly useful for sharing documents on the fly. I like that you can send a link with an expiration date to anybody you want.

I work almost exclusively out of my dropbox. I keep all my work in there which proves mighty important as the people I work with have a funny habit of absolutely NEEDING files from me while I'm on the train. Dropbox saves me that frustration.

You're right, it isn't a paradigm shifting app. I think it falls into the category of apps that save your ass, but only once every couple of months.

Just downloaded it and the push is indeed impressive. The ability to set it so that it sends you a notice if the game is close is brilliant. Not sure how hot I am on the idea of paying 99 cents per month for that feature though. If it was included in the $2 pro version I'd probably buy it right now. I still prefer the layout of the SportsTap app though. I'm an Apple fan ... layout and prettiness trump damn near everything in my eyes.

I've used it like Russic.. One of my friends needed a summary of the APEGGA test and I e-mailed it from my phone.

and that's why we pay the 6.99 and get WunderRadio. It's seriously the best radio app out there and the station selection/s are amazing.
