So multiplayer needs wifi, but can you use 3G with two players?

I just downloaded Effin Genius. It analyzes the songs in your playlists and makes "genius playlists" from them and streams you songs you don't have. I should clarify, it streams you songs that aren't in that playlist. I have seen a couple times where I've been streamed a song that is on my iphone somewhere. Kinda like pandora except it scans the music you have instead of just matching a single track. Plus (are you ready for the shocker?) ... it works in Canada.

I like it so far. Costs $2, so if it finds you 2 songs you wouldn't have otherwise known of it's pretty much worth it. I'm looking forward to making a playlist of songs from House and seeing what it comes up with. Not sure why, but every damn song I hear on that show hits me in just the right place.

I use grocery gadget, but I haven't looked at any others. I like that you can sort the list by category, so if you write your list as a disorganized mess when you get to the store you can sort it by deli, bakery, produce etc. Once you're near the end of the shop you can re-sort by what you still haven't picked up. You can input prices and photos as well ... I don't really do that. I just type out a new list each time. Seems to work fine.

I'm looking for a Twitter app that does push - I don't post at all just want to get updates for sports info, etc.

ANyone know the best app for that?

FStream does the trick as well.

I don't know about any twitter apps that do a full push service. I use SimplyTweet and it pushes direct messages but that's all. I have unlimited texting so if I want a specific twitter stream "pushed" to me I just enable text messaging for that stream on the Twitter website.

Try iVideoCamera. It turns your pre-3Gs phone into a video camera.

I've tried the app and the video looks good. Can anyone who has used it comment on the video quality?

Check out echofon. I think it does push in some fashion, but you'd have to look into it.

Don't know how new it is, but TSN has an app now. It's pretty nice and slick.

Looks fun.

The first thing I thought though is there will be a lot more dropped/broken phones around!

It's fairly new, I've been using it for about a month. I used to have the Score app, but I replaced it with the TSN one, since its much, much nicer.
