It would make my year if that was the case. Although, I really don't think Kane moved the needle that much on that team. he is already on the wrong side of 30.

At he end of the day we all know when he is close to coming back, like Bingo said, they will move to phase 2 with the media hyping his return. His return means everyone will be playing 3 inches and 30 pounds heavier. No one will dare to look at McDavid as the sheriff is back in town.
