I have been waiting a while for us to finally play Ramo. I am however not pleased he is starting tonight. San Jose is such a dominant team and this has the potential to really turn out poorly and ruin some confidence. I don't think its fair to throw him in the fire against a team like SJ after his limited NHL starts, and not playing him for weeks before hand. Anyhow, Go Flames GO

Also taking a born and bred southern boy to his first ever live hockey game tonight...should be interesting.
Wear the red Iggy jersey!

I'll be at the game as well in my red Iggy jersey as well.

Hopefully, the Flames won't get blown out. Any more than that is a bonus.

On the contrary, if he plays the game of his life, he will emerge as a hero and gain more confidence than ever

Niemi is in tonight - he's played every minute in goal this season.

Bracken Kearns is sent back down to the AHL. No word on who the last forward will be. Havlat has just started practicing with the team - don't think he's ready yet. Might be time for Freddie Hamilton to get his debut...

I had a really good feeling about this game, until I saw who drew in on our blueline.

I didn't think Hartley was a hot air guy, but his lack of accountability on the blueline is suggesting that he is.

And if he gets shelled, it'll be easy to point to his .800 save percentage when you send him to the AHL. Positives all around.

Coaches look at players' success in relation to the their roles and assignments and specific needs in the lineup. I suppose sometimes they might not be able to see the forest for the trees.

Thanks, I think the blank road jersey is the right call for a franchise without a face at the moment.

No sign for me, I'm just not that kinda guy. Plus, it would bring a lot of hellfire from the Sharks fans. They are surprisingly passionate.

I'll be giving his post-game report at some point tonight or tomorrow depending on the amount of beer consumed tonight.

Hahaha! Good one... Is he still doing well in CGY? He managed to spend much of his time in SJ and COL in the coach's doghouse. He only escaped the doghouse in SJ after the trade deadline and into the playoffs last year.

I have a bad feeling about this one. This could get ugly.

“@SUNRandySportak: #Flames Shane O'Brien needed 13 stitches after being hit by a puck in the ear yesterday. Won't play with a cover over his ear.”

I'd like to see Colborne play with Glencross and Stempniak and see those guys get the Thornton matchup. Colborne has progressively played better and better.

Burke sees him as an elite 3rd line guy (Steckel) Lets see what hes got tonight.

Alright Ramo, let's see what you're made of.

My brain says 5-1 Sharks, but my heart says 2-0 Flames.

He seems like a great addition so far. His forechecking fits right in to the Flames' system, and though his offence is fairly low, he seems to really help the team so far. I haven't seen anything negative written about him in any thread (though I might have missed it). Not a fan favorite, but definitely someone that has so far been a positive acquisition to the lineup. Always skating and competing. Happy the Flames got him.
