Thank you for everything CP. Good memories and thankful for everything that has been done to help me out. I will no longer take part on these boards. Take care, Go Flames Go.
Yeah the faking wasn't too too bad but the trainer coming out and checking it out really looking concerned was too much.
They should really bean him next time they meet. Just a friendly message.
In a Pennant race as tight as this, I think they should concentrate on just getting him out.

Ron Gardenhire is the most underrated manager in baseball. How come he gets no love when his team has the best record in baseball after sweeping the White Sox tonight 8-5?
I would love to see Ron get over the hump and play in the World Series. Can this finally be the year he does it? Sorry for the rant off but I felt the need to do it.

Yeah, and now they just had this Steinbrenner ceremony. I don't think it'll happen either. Will find out shortly.

So who are you guys penciling in for AL Cy young? CC gets dominated by David Price 2 games in a row does that put DP up there with Felix? Does Felix get the nod because he is lights out or get snubbed from being on a terrible Seattle team?
Don't know if anyone else was following the Nick Adenhart case but the man was convicted of the murder.
Quote:
Gallo was convicted on three counts of second-degree murder and single counts of drunken driving, hit-and-run driving, and driving under the influence of alcohol and causing great bodily injury.
Quote:
Prosecutors said they charged the case as a second-degree murder instead of the lesser charge of manslaughter because Gallo had a previous DUI conviction, had specific knowledge of the dangers of drinking and driving from his own experience, and had signed a court form from the earlier case saying he understood he could be charged with murder if he drove drunk again and killed someone.
Not at all, as I've said, I would rather start with LA over any of the other WC playoff teams. Bunch of underachievers who look good on paper but don't even deserve to be in the playoffs.
How that POS was allowed behind the wheel to begin with is mind boggling since he already a previous DUI conviction.
It's because the law doesn't really care about drinking and driving. If it wasn't for a star baseball player in the passenger seat we would never know 3 people died that night at the hands of a driver who has already been caught.
