Honestly, if Oil beats Aves it'll be the most ridiculous take in ages.

So, is tomorrow garbage day??
The day when Tkachuk comes out and talks about how he needs to be better --> fans fall in love with the responses .. and then he disappears in the playoffs again next year?

And it was never even officially challenged.. so Edmonton had no risk of getting a penalty.

I was prepared for them to get beat fair and square tonight, I had pretty much come to terms with it
To get screwed by the league though, Flames better stand up for themselves with the league here or what's the point? Just keep pouring money into a fixed league?

Backlund, Coleman, Tanev (given circumstances), and arguably Johnny showed up for the playoffs.
Otherwise, pretty much a brutal/uninspiring showing by everyone else.

So what's 35-goal scorer Mangiapane worth now? Do people still think he's worth 5M+/year?

Sutter: “it depends what you call a distinct kicking motion. If a guy is lying on the ground and you kick him in the head that’s a distinct kicking motion. If you slide your leg along the ground it isn’t”

Another comment: Is it so cool to have anointed the Avs as the team that will stomp the Oil that no one mentions the fact that the Avs actually have to win game 6 in St Louis tomorrow?
Wouldn't it be fun to watch the Oilers actually beat the Blues and head to the final. Don't worry, the Lightning will sweep them....or will it actually be the Rangers?

What sites will you be posting these links on? Just want to know so I can avoid going there and seeing these links.. I'll also accept DM's, and I also plan to cancel sportsnet.

I'll bet on the Blues too if you like? Pretty certain the Avs won't lose 2 straight though

I am a Backlund fan, as I think he gets a lot of criticism due to his salary, but the reality is, he gets the toughest matchups. Never a liability and can be dangerous offensively if need be.
In this series, he was the most dynamic and one of the only players that drove the net, made hits and was aggressive. This despite being medium sized. Backlund did all he could.

anyone that is an actual flames fan wants the winner of the central to sweep the oilers end of story.

The no goal call tonight was significantly worse then the 04 ‘no goal’. And it’s not even close.

Coleman pushed, at speed, trying to stop before he runs into the post for his own health and to make sure he doesnt knock off net.
Coleman didn't change his body or leg (considering speed he was going, while getting shoved) position. He was going to that spot on the ice whether the Puck was in the net or over the glass. Puck his his skate and goes in
Coleman's skate gets out of the way before hitting the post, preventing injury.
Called a goal on the ice. No Oiler challenge. League decides to do the Oilers a favour.
