Ah! Well, nevertheless.
as per a video clip on twitter, trudeau says asking questions about this specific MP is racist.

this weeks new political buzzword is diaspra - pretty soon, JT's only answer to any question will be to suggest that it is racist, and then go on a diatribe on how the liberals have had canadians back's during the pandemic

He has the same / only one chance - the economy cratering and people blaming the incumbent.

Except would sane voters even think PP is an option to run our economy? Maybe if he keeps hitting our heads with a 2X4 while chanting Crypto! crypto!

People don’t need someone to believe in anymore , just someone to blame

Thankfully in a market economy (for the most part) the prime minister doesn’t actually ‘run the economy’.

Han Dong's riding has had controversy before

https://nationalpost.com/news/libera...-ex-girlfriend

What's interesting is how Liberals blocked Huang's nomination despite being a perfectly viable candidate with strong backing from Liberal party member. She was however not Beijing's chosen one and was turfed.

Quote:
Also in Dong’s camp is Wei Chengyi, honorary chair of the Beijing-leaning Confederation of Toronto Chinese Canadian Organizations, who shook hands with Chinese President Xi Jinping at an event for “overseas Chinese” earlier this year. The news conference announcing his candidacy was in Wei’s office.
Who is Wei Chengyi? Sound familiar.

https://globalnews.ca/news/9280974/c...o-businessman/

Quote:
According to RCMP sources, national security investigators are also probing Wei for possible links to several properties in Toronto and Vancouver allegedly used as so-called Chinese government “police stations,” which are believed to secretly host agents from China’s Ministry of Public Security (MPS.)
Oh that Wei Chengyi who was running covert Chinese government police stations.

As for the nomination process.

https://liberal.ca/id/

To vote in a candidate, you don't even need a driver's ID (let alone being a Canadian citizen), you just need to be vouched for by another registered Liberal who can prove he exists. Clearly a flawed process subject to fraud or foreign interference.

You don’t need a drivers license to vote either. We need to be careful about over correcting into disenfranchisement.

How deep does the rabbit hole go? It's great to see the Global and Mail and Global News push on this, as well as the CSIS whistleblower who went public as our government tries to sweep known foreign interference that was beneficial to them.

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/poli...liott-trudeau/

While foreign donations to a charity like PETF is not in itself an issue, Zhang used this donation as a catapult to place himself in front of Trudeau and Liberal party fundraisers.

The issue is who was head of the president of the PETF at the time of the donation, Morris Rosenberg.

Yes that same Morris Rosenberg who was also selected to write an independent report on China foreign election interference.

That report has not yet been released? Oh really? It was all smoke and mirrors?

It's funny how there's just so many coincidence and innocent looking events that happen. All purely coincidental, and you are all racists for questioning anything about national security.

You are correct, but the requirement without a driver's ID are much more stringent where mass voter fraud is unlikely to occur.

https://www.elections.ca/content.asp...t=index&lang=e

Option 3: If you don't have ID
You can still vote if you declare your identity and address in writing and have someone who knows you and who is assigned to your polling station vouch for you.

The voucher must be able to prove their identity and address. A person can vouch for only one person (except in long-term care institutions).

Let's also understand, it's only a problem now that we know that it has been abused by foreign entities. I expect Liberals may change this as well as other parties now that foreign abuse into our democratic process has been made public.

My personal opinion is that Trudeau knew of the interference and influence was decided to sell his soul in exchange for another spin as PM.

He's doubling down.

The only reason to do that is because he's trying to hide something.
It would be the easiest thing in the world to say 'oh #### I screwed up, didn't realize how bad the influence is, yo Chinese MP dude you're gone, and lets have an inquiry.'

So easy.

I still can't believe Trudeau is still the PM. The Libs need to wake the eff up and boot him into the sun so they can easily win a majority next election.

Yeah, but they won’t. It’s ride or die with him at the helm short of a total caucus revolt.
