Struggling with alcohol maybe?

It looks like the Beth kidnapper group are some more weird people - "the sacrifices we make in here are for the greater good. In here, you're not the greater good. You're part of a system." It looks like the one woman is wearing a police uniform, and they're in some facility like perhaps a hospital. Having seen the first two episodes we now know that that isn't Terminus, which the trailer led us to believe. Looks like we're dealing with another organized "society".

So the big question is who of the 3 parties - father Gabriel, the hunters, the kidnappers - is connected? Are they even connected at all?

I think Bob must have been infected. They made that clear by focusing on the zombie in the water before it grabbed Bob, then the last kiss, and him outside obviously distraught. They wouldn't have done that if he wasn't. So are the Hunters done for already? Did cooking their Bob burgers make a difference? lol.
I don't think that the kidnappers get Carol and Daryl necessarily, just that the group doesn't know where they went and attribute it to whatever happened to Bob. They didn't tell the group obviously. So their gone for a while, but doesn't necessarily mean they get captured or in any extended trouble of sorts.

Everything else, yeah not sure. That's the biggest question for me too. Who is connected to who. We've got three possible groups and they may or may not be connected to each other. Or two might be, various possibilities there.

I'm thinking that the priest was/is a complete coward. When the outbreak began he blockaded himself inside the church. His flock came for refuge and he didn't let them in, hence the scratches, cuts and the message on the wall.

I was thinking that too. Kept all the food and 'screwed them over' only by being a complete coward.

The only thing that pulls me back and forth is that the 'kidnapper car' has a cross on it. But it looks like tape, and maybe it's just something else.

I was thinking the same thing.

Let's be honest, the way that church door looks, if a crowd wanted in, they would get in.

It all seems too clean to me.

All most like the bait house from last season.

True dat about the church doors. Though it did appear someone tried to get in through the windows. Maybe they just sucked at it? lol

I hope Gabriel's secret is way more sinister than keeping people out of the church when the apocalypse began. That just seems lame and obvious.

Maybe Gabriel had a hand in stocking that bait house last season in exchange for something. He did have access to a lot of donated food.

My assumption is that he got bit as he asked for one more kiss before going outside like it was something that he wasn't going to get again followed by going outside and breaking down. It seemed like he realized his time was coming. There has to be a reason they focussed on him getting pulled under the water by the walker. Unless it was purposely misdirection by the writers. I was thinking possibly the cannibals may be screwing themselves by eating infected meat. I guess it hasn't been made clear what would happen if you ingested meat from in infected human and maybe this is where the writers are going.

That was my assumption as well that he locked himself in and took all the food for himself. The scratches around the window I guess are supposed to indicate someone was trying to get in. That said what would stop anyone from smashing windows? Maybe it was just the woman he locked out which is why he was so devastated when he saw here as a walker.

Holy ****. This is kinda OT, but involves Laurie Holden from TWD.

The Walking Dead's Laurie Holden describes her role in Colombian sex slave sting

Quote:
Earlier this year, she took part in an undercover operation that resulted in the rescue of 55 sex slaves in Colombia, some as young as 12.

I think the fact that Bob may have been bitten is not a problem for those eating him. (strange sentence to type)
Afterall, everyone is already infected, they're just not dead. So if they ingest zombie leg they're not going to get any more infected than they already are surely.

Except that being bitten gives you the fatal zombie fever. So early on in the apocalypse people saw others get but and then turn. It wasn't that the bite that made them turn; the bite made them die, and then dying made them turn.

We know from Hershal's injury that if you get bitten you can be saved by amputating that part. It even took Rick et al a few minutes to amputate his leg. Could be a plot twist.

Wouldn't the terminus cannibals have noticed if Bob had bite marks on him?

Whoa whoa. Let's not get carried away here! I think in this case the real-life actor is much more bad ass and better at handling high-stress situations than character she portrayed. It definitely says something when I think I'd rather have real-life "child sex-ring busting" Laurie Holden with me in the zombie apocalypse than "I'll shoot Darryl so I look like a boss" Andrea lol.

I don't think Bob got bitten. I think it takes a lot out of him to put on that positive front for the group, and he was just releasing some stress when he thought he was alone.

Andrea had one of the best lines of the series thus far.

When talking to the Governor she asked why he was called that:

Governor: It's just a name someone gave me
Andrea: It's not a name; it's a title
