It's no secret we have guys inside some of the larger groups in SC, and frankly, the way they conduct themselves outside of the main forum and discuss their anti-goon policies is hilarious.
Sorry some bee podded you in EVE I guess.
I'm guessing you're one of the milspergs in Imperium eh?

I think it is significant that CIG is only accountable to the players. That is their only job, make a good game. Most gamers are quite tolerant (after some grumbles) of delays that allow for a better game to be made. Investors and publishers aren't.
ON TO THE FUN STUFF:
Imgur Gallery of WIP art/concept art
Character concept art
Anvil Aerospace Gladiator concept art
Aegis Dynamics Retaliator concept art
WIP Shield Effect:
Everyone who has any interest in the game should look at the links above, there is a lot of new art there including new ships we didn't know about... like this one:

You're jumping to a bunch of really weird areas, and really wrong conclusions. I will just point out to you that your childish over-hyping of certain things here is getting really, really lame.
"Hell, you should see how freaked out the forum nerds are getting about goons already. The meta-game of forum-warrioring has already paid off in spades, and we haven't even fired a single laser."
You willingly typed these sentences? Ok, you have fun with that. Just keep in mind that something you think is a big aspect of the game is really a complete non-issue to others.
I'll stay focused on the actual game.

Star Citizen hit $22 million today and therefore we unlocked the facial capture system!
To check out the work of the company that will be helping CIG with this, check out this link (some tasteful but certainly NSFW nudity on the site as they do whole body captures as well):
Infinite Realities

$24 million stretch goal:
Quote:
Public Transportation System – Need to get from one place to another but don’t have a starship? We’re building a galactic transportation system. You can travel via transport from system to system in Star Citizen and even ship items (like a ship you need move to another hangar.) With this stretch goal, we’ll expand this system: star liners, long range transports, charter ships and flyable shuttles!

Hm yeah, kind of liking that new Aurora LN. So what do I do, just select the "Exchange for store credits" on the Scout LTI gear in My Hangar on the website, then buy the Next Generation Aurora pledge?

Hmm, I got on as a backer partway through the 18 mil time, but I don't get a reward for it now? I have 19 and 20 but no 18, I hurried to back them for that incentive specifically.
Sounds like the wrong way to do it

The $18 million stretch goal was not an item you get in your hangar. It's not there for anyone.

launch will receive the computer coordinates needed to allow their jump drives to access this system.

If you do that, don't you lose your original backer package? Or do you have another one?

If I want the Hornet Variant but own the original Colonel Package, does melting that original Hornet down mean I lose the original package and all it's perks, bonuses, and status?
