Facial Capture System. We’ve researched a technology that uses a series of cameras to capture real heads and import them into the game. This will let the team more easily create a variety of realistic characters. In addition, the technology is mobile enough to allow us to take it on the road and capture select fans during special events! You can learn more about this technology at Infinite-Realities.

Xi’an Scout Unlocked! The Khartu is the light attack craft of the Xi’An military. Contrary to Human ship design, the Khartu doesn’t have a traditional main thruster, instead featuring an array of maneuvering thrusters on articulated rigs. This design allows for incredible agility, making them the bane of UEE pilots, who bestowed the nickname ‘Quark’ because when all of the thrusters are firing, the ship looks like a spark flying through space. The Xi’an Aopoa corporation also manufactures an export model, the Khartu-al, for sale to human civilians as a dedicated scout/explorer. The export model features the same Xi’an maneuvering rig, but control surfaces modified for human use and a more limited armament. (Designer: Aopoa)

Well, the live stream didn't really work out. Hopefully the video of the entire event will be posted on RSI's channel.
EDIT:
Wingman said on the forums that YouTube cut the live stream because the crowd sang Happy Birthday (to Star Citizen and one of their staff) and it is a copyrighted song. Wow.

Make sure you install the Hangar Module so you can check out your ships.
ALSO: Hornet variants go for sale tomorrow!
Is there an easy place to get info on upcoming ship sales? I can see maybe buying a second ship if the right one comes along (particularly if it has LTI since I goofed and missed the deadline thinking I'd already sponsored).
I don't know if I'm concerned, I really trust Chris Roberts on the game front (Not the movie from Wing Commander was utterly terrible). His creativity and story telling in Wing Commander was off the charts.
It just feels like this game is being hyped by how much money it raises, at the end of the day no matter what happens this game is probably going to get savaged by the die hard MMO players that hate everything about the games they love.
Can it live up to the hype or will it be a bigger version of Sim City V because its now build a following of what might be over entitled players who will rage about every small bug or missing feature because they funded it.
I might not be saying this right, but when the emphasis is on money over features, I always worry that the end game can't match the hype.

It won't, there's no way it will.
That said, if I can reap even a year of extracting pubbie tears through piracy, podding, boarding, and generally causing mayhem, I'll be ecstatic.
Hell, you should see how freaked out the forum nerds are getting about goons already. The meta-game of forum-warrioring has already paid off in spades, and we haven't even fired a single laser.

Sorry, but what? The only people that talk about goons are goons.
I stay mostly silent, but I've been involved in this longer than you and I'm just not seeing what you claim is happening.
