Maybe it is nothing but regardless the sample size is large and the correlation is strong enough imo to warrant further investigation. And the thing is it's not going to be an expensive undertaking. The data is already collected.

You can only have one cause, it may have many risk factors that trigger it (as in MS) but it's still one just one cause.

Ok, so why then did you suggest that the paper was postulating that circumcision was causing autism when it was simply suggesting based on their analysis that it might be a risk factor?

Also if the study postulates that the trauma of the procedure cause autism then you would have to find a correlating trauma in every kid that has autism, you just can't argue some kids get autism due to trauma and some due to some other genetic or bio chemical reason it would be utterly asinine.

Spurious correlation. Here's a nice website related to that:

Really, as the video above said - all dicks look weird. Pretty sure they look the same erect? I doubt a chick could point out a cut vs uncut erect rod? If that's the case, then why does anyone care what a flaccid donger looks like?
|
Uh, yes we can.
Uncut dinks tend to be more smelly because they don't get washed properly either. Shake, shake and roll that last drop of pee right into your folds.... EW.

I've never heard a woman say they prefer an uncircumcised dink, at best it doesn't matter to them. But plenty do prefer circumcised, so for that alone I'm glad I got cut. Plus it's just easier to manage in the hygiene department

The foreskin keeps the mucosal surfaces moist, emolliated, and maintains optimum health,10 while preventing drying, and keratinization of the mucosa.17 The sub-preputial moisture contains pathogen-fighting substances.

Circumcision, male or female isn't right in my opinion (unless medically suggested).
I don't think other people should be making decisions on the mutilation of another individual's body.

Yah cause an extra 15-30 seconds of washing in the shower is so inconvenient.

Clean, uncircumcised are best.
Women only prefer circumcised due to the aforementioned cleanliness issue. However, if you find a man who cares for his junk properly, (harder to find than you'd imagine,) that's the best.

if Penn & Teller call BS, good enough for me (NSFW for obvious reasons)
tldw: there really is no good reason to circumcise anyone.
personal experience: uncut, no complaints yet.

What I am trying to say, is there are enough North American people like me, born to mixed Jewish families that had their penor wrecked, because of some stupid, old world, backwater thinking, that you could have a very good sample of circumcised men to test this theory against non-circumcised men.
Also I think I broke the record for the use of the word Jew and dink references in one post on CP.

Yes and no.
The idea of inter religious marriage is very new. It's just really taken off. You still find huge genetic links within Jewish populations. So if there was one gene causing a particular type of autism, it wouldn't be surprising to see it in a much higher concentration in the Jewish population, even if a lot of them have been marrying non Jews over the last fifty years.

That's not what I said. I said, "Parents, don't cut your baby boys penises. Be sure to teach them the importance of proper cleaning and shaking though!"

Indeed you did, and I completely missed it, I apologize. It's become frustrating dealing with strong opinionated people (on many issues) who are unwilling back up their statements with facts and I misinterpreted your statement as one of them.
