So he was using his eloted time and Edmonton media is making a thing out of not getting on early?
Entitlement is mind blowing.

TBF, I think Ekholm is just sounding impressed. The PED thing is fans interpreting it.

Tkachuk more than anything saw a team that was going to be competitive for a long time to come. Bennett cost a 2nd round pick. Reinhart cost a 1st round pick. Verhage came as a UFA at a contract amount of $1m per year, Forsling even less. Ekblad, Lundell and Barkov were drafted; two of them were franchise players.
At best, one player - Tkachuk - chose Florida in part because of taxes and sunshine.
Otherwise the team hit a couple home run draft picks and made some amazing UFA signings and trades. Whether by luck or by skill, they found diamonds in the rough, the same way Vegas did. And they made some very astute trades for young, talented players that needed a change in scenery.

Chucky waxed poetic about the lifestyle down there. Have a look at the list he had for a sign and trade. They were all either no tax, flashy/fun areas, his hometown, or a combination of those. Dallas, Vegas, Nashville, St. Louis, NYR/NJD, Fla.

Roids with Marchand's jawline? I take it these fools have no idea what they do.

You don't realize how big of a loss Hyman is until you see that putrid winger depth.

After all, the Oilers really deserve no kindnesses.

I don't know; judging by the constant crowd fight videos, Edmontonians know a thing or 2 about Roid Rage; at least their women.
