It's not just an isolated incident either. It's happened all playoffs win or lose.

What the hell is with the guy grabbing a woman by the head like that? My goodness a lot of these Oilers fans are savage. The city where fun and fisticuffs go hand in hand.

I know there is no justice in this world, and underserving people win all the time. But last year we saw that every now and then good, or at least a lesser evil, could triumph.

Let's see that again tonight.

I don't really think the taxes and weather is the huge advantage everyone makes it out to be. It's an advantage, yes. But...look at their roster and tell me how many guys ended up there because of taxes and weather? Or stayed there for the same reason.

Tkachuk more than anything saw a team that was going to be competitive for a long time to come. Bennett cost a 2nd round pick. Reinhart cost a 1st round pick. Verhage came as a UFA at a contract amount of $1m per year, Forsling even less. Ekblad, Lundell and Barkov were drafted; two of them were franchise players.

At best, one player - Tkachuk - chose Florida in part because of taxes and sunshine.

Otherwise the team hit a couple home run draft picks and made some amazing UFA signings and trades. Whether by luck or by skill, they found diamonds in the rough, the same way Vegas did. And they made some very astute trades for young, talented players that needed a change in scenery.

Luongo is banging the drum. Panthers are 3-0 when former players bang the drum

I don't really mind a long run when it ultimately crushes them.
As long as it ultimately crushes them.

Verhaeghe had already played in Tampa Bay. He could have liked the Florida lifestyle and preferred to stay.

And I find stuff like that so much more unsettling when it's people with enough money to attend a Stanley Cup Final game and buy a new jersey there (plus buying 12 heroin beers) who are pulling crap like that.

Like you'd almost expect it at a dive bar on Jasper Ave...but I hate knowing people who may actually have some power and influence in the city are that trashy and unhinged.

PS Happy Oilers Elimination Day for those who celebrate! Gonna be a good day

Credit cards are a hell of a drug. I suspect quite a few of those fans are going to be paying those tickets off for months, years, to come.

Maybe they should learn how to take an L with class rather than blaming a couple world class plays on guys juicing.

Opposing fans don't resort to comments like that when mcdavid dangles.

Doesn't matter anyways. Marchy and the cats won't be able to hear them with two rings in their ears.
