I don't know, I'd prefer a world leader who doesn't take his toys and go home when Megyn Kelly is a little bit mean to him. Pretty sure he'll have lots of bigger, scarier people being "unfair" when he's running the country.
There isn't a single candidate on the GOP side that doesn't scare me.

I think Trump is a blowhard, but tactically his decision was actually pretty brilliant last night. He knew the hatchet job was coming. As a result, Fox basically just tore up his closest competition all night. His even raised a bunch of money for vets, and had them everywhere. So it was basically right wing panderathon.
It should have hurt him, but not only did he get out unscathed, he likely got a lot of help.
It's hilarious. Tragic and hilarious.

There already is a wall on the Mexican boarder. I'm not sure what all the hubbub is about.
I've seen the wall with mine own eyes. Many times. It wasn't a mirage in the desert.

Pretty much. Ted Cruz got destroyed and the consensus was Jeb Bush did very well. Trump wasn't gaining or losing any supporters last night if he debated, but he managed to weaken his strongest opponent and strengthen his weakest opponent just by not going.

Well, I tell you what. I would not want America led by such a ruthless, cold, calculating liar such as Mrs. Clinton. The record speaks for itself. She has done nothing to deserve the Presidency, but clearly feels it is her inheritance.

It's not so much the wall but rather the desire to do another "Operation Wetback". And the registration thing. And, well, he can't actually talk about anything and give an answer of substance. It's always "trust me" or that guy is an idiot.

Across the whole thing?
The current intermittent fences/walls account for less than 20% of the border.
Either way, if the second point of the Muslim registration isn't enough to deter you then, again, I can't even.

Trump's Secretary Of Defense is going to be Joe Arpaio isn't it.

Chill dawg, I'm a Calgarian. I couldn't vote for Trump even if I wanted to. Which I don't.
And if you read 10 posts previous, I clearly say I endorse Bernie.

I don't love Hillary by any means, she's actually my last choice of the Dems running, but if it's her or literally any of the GOP candidates, I'm voting for her without any hesitation. There's a difference between corruption (which all or at least most politicians are guilty of to some degree) and a combination of corrupt and crazy/belligerent.
I prefer my politicians to keep their religion out of their policies and to believe basic science.

Well, it is pretty clear that Clinton only believes anything when it holds an advantage for her. I would definitely take a chance on Trump over Clinton. You guys have a Congress and a Senate too, you know. He can't actually do any of the things that he has promised.

The Obama administration confirmed for the first time Friday that Hillary Clinton's unsecured home server contained closely guarded government secrets, censoring 22 emails with material requiring one of the highest levels of classification. The revelation comes just three days before the Iowa presidential nominating caucuses in which Clinton is a candidate.
Department officials also said the agency's Diplomatic Security and Intelligence and Research bureaus will investigate whether any of the information was classified at the time of transmission, going to the heart of one of Clinton's primary defenses of her email practices.
The State Department will release its next batch of emails from Clinton's time as secretary of state later Friday.

I can scarcely think of someone who has a more impressive resume than Hillary.

A Republicab controlled Congress and Senate, and Trump will do nothing to stop them from passing legislation that unfairly benefits Wall Street, Billionaires, and big money corporate interests. (To be fair, I'm not sure Hillary will stem this tide much either, but I like her chances better than the GOP candidates) He also will do nothing to keep a GOP-led Congress/Senate from repealing the Affordable Care Act and leaving millions without adequate healthcare. He won't stop them from defunding Planned Parenthood, then leaving those without healthcare from accessing basic reproductive services. He won't stop them from attempting to change marriage equality and certainly won't help further LGBT interests. He won't do anything to further prison reform.
Most importantly, he'll likely bring in multiple Supreme Court judges who will lean right, thus leaving America in the hands of judges who think Citizens United was a wonderful idea.
Wanting a democrat in office is about so much more than just Hillary.

You realize the real Trump is likely left of Hillary? Also, not nearly as corrupt.

I wonder if people do see that most of Trump's economic policies so far are very liberal. Protectionism, anti free trade, against money in politics, tariffs left and right. That's what's so strange about him, take out Mexicans and Muslims and his policies are much closer to a moderate Republican. Granted his views on the Mexican and Muslim issues are extreme, but that's what makes him such an odd candidate. He's said a few extreme, crazy things, but otherwise he's closer to Bernie than he is Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz's craziness is flying deep under the radar, but he would be apocalyptic for America as President. Trump is a much better option than Cruz.

It is uncanny what Trump is doing. The only credible explanation I can come up with is that he had lunch one day with Nate Silver then commissioned 308 to do some in-depth analysis of what narratives will activate which voters on an emotional level and now he is systematically pressing those buttons. Through all of this he is mostly avoiding policy discussions therefore it's proving very hard to label him and back him into a corner. For all his other faults, an idiot Donald Trump is not.
