I don't want GDTs to be exclusive to me. In fact I don't ever want to post another ever again after all this BS.

Anyway that's enough on this topic, I think.
I'm not one of those people who got mad. Let alone what does other people are saying about sureLoss' news exclusivity have to do with this?

If you get the news scoop first, you get it, even if its before sureLoss. However, that is a different issue than starting threads a day ahead just for the sake of starting it

I am not worried about how the Flames come out next game, as they came out firing today.

I always get CaptainCrunch and Locke confused. To me they are the same person.

One of them likes Star Wars and another one really hates Edmonton, I don't know which one is which. Pretty sure CaptainCrunch is the former, and Locke is the latter.

I'm going to trust in Ward's upbeat and positives-focused approach.

Confidence grows with praise.

He did mention the biggest thing, which was discipline. The play definitely isn't tilted the way it was without that penalty parade.
I think Ward is probably a "great guy" to have around, but watching his team play I don't think he is even competent in the x's and o's portion of the game or player deployment. Could explain why he has been an assistant coach and never got the head coaching gig.

It seems as soon as the Flames sustain pressure Dallas makes an adjustment and then it takes us until the next game to counter back.

I think I had been here for at least two years before I realized that timbit and btimbit were two different posters.

I still confuse all the posters with Manhattan and Monahan in their names

Lol at the infighting... let focus on game 5 boys... whether we lose the next two or win the next two we’re with the flames every minute.

Ok, let's put this in perspective.

I am sitting in my car in the Walmart parking lot.

I am not clever enough to make this up, this is LITERALLY the conversation I just had with the cashier:

Me: Hey man, how's it going?

Cashier: *completely monotone* I am dead inside... there is no other way to explain it... how is your day?

Me: I'm also having a bad day... but mine is because my team just lost in the playoffs.

Cashier: *still deadpan monotone* There will be another game... I will still work at Walmart.

So, yeah... I guess it could be worse?

Still, Stars are white knuckling and chasing this series more than the Flames. They have to throw everything but the kitchen sink to get even in this series. Flames conversely are barely playing above board hockey and haven't been behind in this series yet.

If the flames can find another gear then this series is theirs.

Some of ya’ll really shouldn’t be watching sports, hockey is designed for these types of endings. It is what it is. It’s why we love and loathe the game at the same time. I liked what I saw from Johnny this game. I didn’t like what I saw from our defence, just too passive on Dallas’s blue line and let them dictate play. I want to see our forwards hounding their D everytime they get the puck over our line. Also been pretty frustrated with Gio this series, wish he would have more confidence with the puck like he did last year. Frustrating end but I’ve seen way more heartbreaking flames losses than that. Still 2-2, anyone’s series.

I'm sure that Locke is completely insulted by your post.

Yeah well, you're from Indiana so my expectations become significantly tempered.

THIS

The Stars have to put up 100+ shot attempts to get a squeeze out win vs Calgary.

Flames batten down the hatches a bit more and put in a bit more effort and we'll see a different outcome.

At least if we lose in 6 we will finally blow this core up, one playoff win in 5 years is just not good enough.

Dammit. Dallas came out to play and dominated for what felt like most of the game. Going into the series Pavelski was their player I was worried about most, and he showed why tonight.

Excellent performance by Talbot. A shame he couldn't get the win. 1st line looked a lot better but as a whole the team needs to be better and stop taking so many goddamn penalties.

Entertaining game to watch on a hot sunday afternoon.
