I've read that ballots made at a poll within that riding can be counted on the spot but any ballots made outside of their riding won't be counted until the next day.

Not true according to the Elections Alberta guy interviewed on the radio and according to their website. By law the ballots must be counted in the riding for which they are intended. The legislature voted down a recommendation to allow early counting and/or centralize counting when the approved the 'vote anywhere' law.

The irony, Muta, is given the general lack of coherence and intelligence in your communication, it becomes rather obvious that you keep posting that image in the hopes of projecting your faults onto others.
And Ozy comes to defend you in 3... 2... 1...

That URL doesn't point to the definitive information ... ?
I think it comes down to this:
"Approximately 223,000 ballots were cast by electors outside of their electoral divisions."
This is when they get sent to Edmonton.

Voted at lunch time today, basically empty and no-one there. I'm sure tonight it will be lined up and super busy. I still don't understand why voting on election day doesn't start at 7am, so that some can vote before heading to work.

Chances are that we'll know who's in government tonight. There might be some close ridings up in the air, but I think we'll know.

Here's the list of ridings with the amount of 'outside' votes attributed to them. Thus there will some ridings where these votes could change the outcome (IE: Calgary-Buffalo Calgary-Bow) but many ridings will have absolute results available tonight.
Most analysts are predicting s an easy UCP majority so more than likely we will know tonight whether that plays out.

Yeah I agree they will announce the winner tonight. Out of the 200k votes that will be counted, that is 200k that account for a bunch of riding across Alberta. Unless a race is close (in the hundreds), I don't expect a bunch of results flip after they are counted.

Crap, sorry about that. On the main Elections Alberta website go to the main website (not the selection specifically for this elections/where to vote etc.) and then look at the news releases. The release for the story of how many advance votes were made is what i was referring to. Here it is pasted directly from the website:
Ballots cast by electors within their electoral division will be counted following the close of polls on Election Night in their respective electoral divisions. Approximately 473,000 ballots were cast by electors in their electoral divisions.
Ballots cast by electors at locations outside their electoral divisions will be counted in the days following Election Day. Approximately 223,000 ballots were cast by electors outside of their electoral divisions.
Edit:
now that I read it again it appears they will indeed be counted centrally, which makes sense. But I could swear that is not what I heard yesterday.

here you go: https://boereport.com/2019/04/15/alb...tion-campaign/
Kenney told reporters that while he has not talked with Singh, he understands police are dealing not with Singh’s son, not Singh.
