Jesus man!!! I am sick of Tower having to spoonfeed you everything!!! It's not about what he does or what those very intelligent fellows in the car do, it's about what you can do for yourself. Do or do not... there is no try. Fear is the path to the darkside. Fear leads to Anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
How many times does he have to make this argument til you understand. The proof is in the pudding.
Haven't you figured it out yet? Tower is my sock puppet.... I just post all that crap so I can respond in my intellectual and rational onetwo_threefour identity to show everyone how smart I am!!
MUAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!one1!11!!eleven!!

I want to see part 3 of the video... 12 weeks later Mr. Freeman gets stopped for speeding again and due to his unpaid ticket and the subsequent warrant out for his arrest he gets hauled off to jail.
As he is being put in the car observers can hear his nonsensical screaming.. "I do not accept this... he threw it in my LAP.. MY LLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAPPPPP!!!!!"
Seriously, don't you find it a little bit convenient that the guy can choose not to accept his ticket, presumably because he does not consent to abide by the Motor Vehicle Act. Yet for the purpose of obtaining a drivers license, registering his car and getting insurance he doesn't seem to have a problem following the rules set out in the Act. Now of course this an assumption based on the fact the cop allowed him to continue driving which I don't think he would have if he was not a licensed driver or didn't have insurance/registration.
And be sure to note that when Buddy returns to the car, one of the people in the car (the driver?) says, "okay, put on your seatbelt."
Wasn't the point of the video that they weren't required to wear seatbelts?
The guy mentioned the "Freeman Movement" and suggested that the cops look into it. I don't know if the cops did but I did and the first hit I got on google was this;
It's essentially a rundown of how some Freemen are selling (for hundreds of actual dollars) the "knowledge" to other Freemen and potential Freemen.
Turns out the secrets are not so secret, and some Freemen are paying other Freemen real money for chintzy videos and information that you can find on the internet for free. The customers are not happy about it, because they feel they are getting scammed.
Who does a wronged freeman run to when he's been ripped off?
A cynical person just might wonder if a believer/promoter of this philosophy avoids answering direct questions for free because he'd prefer to sell the answers to those same questions for money.

The Following User Says Thank You to RougeUnderoos For This Useful Post:
Remember that episode of Fresh Prince of Belair when Will was teaching Ashley to stand up to the bully at school? He was teaching her to act like she was crazy, with a weird tick. "BACK OFF! Mind your bidness, that's all. Just mind your bidness." The idea was that if you acted like an unhinged weirdo, people wouldn't bother confronting you.
So let me get this straight... you can opt out of the system at any time you wish.
So... I could go into the prison and tell everyone in there that all they have to do to get released is revoke their consent to be detained there. They say they don't want to be there and *poof* you're a freeman-on-the-land. I'm sure not a single one of them has tried the "But I don't want to go to jail" argument.
I will make a fortune with this new information. It's just a shame they'll be paying me in paper representing fake debt created out of thin air instead of... I dunno... bits of string?

So you are saying this is a multi-level marketing sales ploy?

Everything Tower posts is a scheme or conspiracy or a scam of some kind. I hope that if he is a real person, he doesn't fall for any of these because actually following through on any of this stuff can really hurt a person financially (or maybe ruin his car if he starts putting water into the gas tank). I also wonder whatever happened to put him on this path, especially as he was actually looking for lawyers to help him with something. Now they are the scum of the earth who only operate through clandestine oath on the aegis of the secret Law Society.

What I don't get is, you tell the cops "I'm a Freeman! Look it up!" and they arrest you anyway. What are you going to do about it? Take them to court?
These so-called Freemen have the right to be free but do they have any other rights that any legal citizen would actually observe?
From what I've been able to gather, they claim to not have consented to these acts and statutes, yet they participate in them (having a license, driving a car, buying a loaf of bread) and when something happens that they don't agree with, they pull this Freeman of the Land BS and say that "you're rules don't apply to me" (at this particular moment)
So if Tower was to go into a 7-11 and try to take a Slurpee without payment, even under common law he still has to provide something in exchange for that slurpee, and in this case the acceptable form of "payment" is that of Canadian currency, because that holds a certain value to 7-11. Otherwise, it's theft of property.

Hmmm, yes I am not sure how these Freemen can justify getting goods and services unless they live on a commune and help in the production of goods. Otherwise they would have no excuse for stealing that Slurpee, they know that 7-11 operates under the laws of the land and clearly but attempting to take something from there you have to play by their rules. The Hutterites can do it, I'm sure the Freemen can too. But I don't know what the Freeman view on contracts (i.e. exchanging one thing of value for another thing of value) is.

Well rest assured, it's not these posts that Tower will respond to. He will again today view this thread, waiting for the right post, that allows him to spew more garbage without answering any serious questions, and the thread will continue.

Without a doubt!
A simple question of "Do you have a drivers license: yes, or no." will go unanswered and he'll make some comment about jam.

The thing I love about supporters of this 'movement' (like Tower), is the denial.
When confronted with a fact: Deny it! The Freeman/Income Tax defense has NEVER worked? "No matter, I never agreed to be bound my that judge's ruling." or "The defendant made the wrong argument". I imagine that even as they are being led away to jail, they continue to spout their mantra "I'm a Freeman" "I never consented to be bound by societies rules" and they continue to hold this position throughout their incarceration, doubtless 'bragging' on their release "The authorities had to release me because I told them I was a Freeman" all the while the reality is that their sentence was finished.
One really does have to worry about the mental health of 'true believers' and their head in the sand approach when confronted by ANY evidence that their 'belief' is nothing more than some cult leaders massive joke on the gullible.
Being a Freeman is like being an Oilers fan. There's that same level of denying reality.
Yep.
If the freeman, according to his principles, does not see him fitting in our current society, there's another alternative: he would like to live according to the laws of the nature. Where animals have their own set of rules, conducts and social practisces. But at least he would be free of the ''oppressive'' chains of our civilized society.
