Just came to post the same.
Numerous people on my social media have posted the stupid pens thing.
They're definitely getting ready for the "election was stolen" crap.

They had both pens and pencils. These people are crazy. I didn’t know you could take your own stationary. What’s next bring your own ballots next time. Trust no one.

These people are nuts. At least come up with something good.

When I voted there was two pencils and a pen. A small stupid thing but I really liked that they are using those large, thick pencils instead of the little golf pencils.

I won't vote unless provided with a Parker pen at a minimum. Ideally a Mont Blanc.

“They didn’t remove it! They just made it zero!”
So stupid. Try harder.

Do you think if it was popular that it would have been removed because PP “lobbied hard”? Or are you just avoiding admitting that Carney listened to the people of Canada before he was in any position of power, and then acted on it as soon as he had the power to do so?
So, again, you’re suggesting you take cues from PP on how to think and feel about things, and now doubling down on that embarrassment by giving PP credit for someone else actually listening to your sentiments. Is PP just everything to you?

You are really grasping at straws. Your posts all contain the same rhetoric. You simply try to pin posters into a corner with assumptions that every conservative loves PP unconditionally. It’s predictable and boring. Throw in some passive insults and it’s same old same old. You think with over 20,000 posts, and endless hours wasted on this message board you could be a bit more creative. Might be time to get some fresh air.

I’m just following your logic, if you have a problem with where it leads or take issue with people poking holes in your weak arguments, then get better ones or realise it might be better to actually put thought into something instead of thinking whatever some right wing politician tells you to think. Flailing around trying to make this about things like post count or someone else posting on the message board you’ve been posting on for over a decade isn’t the move, it just makes you look like you have no better response and you’re too embarrassed to admit when you’re wrong, which is a really pathetic character trait.
Fitting for a PP supporter, tho, no?

The issue with the carbon tax thing is that they're removing the consumer carbon tax while increasing the industrial carbon tax to compensate, which is exactly backwards.

It doesn't matter if you use a pen or pencil when it's a fake ballot anyway.
For the provincial UCP leadership race, a far-right, anti-vax, flat earther co-worker of mine tried to take a picture of his mail-in-ballot to share with a buddy, and told me how he discovered all these issues he had trying to take a decent picture of it. He said it was proof that the party was plotting against Danielle.
I had to explain to the dumbass that they were security features to make sure the ballot was legit and not a fake one. They want to make sure you can't make a copy of it to alter the count. He was embarrassingly calling all his friends seconds later to tell them that the UCP wasn't in fact rigging the results.
As an aside, has anyone tried to copy our Canadian bank notes in a photocopier? Try it... if you dare... muwah ha ha ha ha...

The fact that your friend would even admit they were wrong is something I wouldn’t have attributed to a conspiracy theorist. Good for them I guess?

I can’t thank this enough. Canada is fantastic and yet we have to be subjected to hearing how terrible it is and how we’re not a serious country, or Canada is broken day in and day out. It’s insulting, really.

“Canada is broken” is identical to Trump’s political campaigns trashing the USA claiming it’s a failed country and only he can make it great. And once again, he’s destroying it.
MAGA North and South are all so damned stupid - they do not love our country and never will. These people are cultist morons filled with anger and hate. They are easy marks for this fascist bs.

"Canada is broken" when translated means "I'm tired of being subjected to brown people every day"
