Man, poor Stone. With these questions about being a Flame and re-signing here, I feel like he doesn't necessarily want to reveal his hand about Calgary being really the only option he'll go with as it just hurts his negotiating power with the Flames and maybe even feels like he knows the Flames ownership and management know this.

Yeah, people are all talking about them leaving because of the state of the team/winning etc. I see it like you - Lindholm has a chance at a payday. There's a lot of money tied up in other players right now, and Treliving doesn't give in easily in extensions.

LA is a good example too.
Re-built around the Kopitar, Doughty contracts and those guys are still positive players for them now.
That would be the strategy with Weegar, Huberdeau, and Kadri.
