Injuries are not always a bad thing. A Markstrom injury for example likely saves our season.

He's 26 years old and of all the players hitting free agency next year he's of the age where it's a no-brainer to offer him the long term deal. With his skating he should be a quality player into his 30's.

Lucic is one of those guys for whom the game will retire him, he will not retire from the game.
He may get a PTO or something like that, but he's not an NHL quality player in my view.

He's going to have a really, really, really difficult time finding a team with a head coach that values what he brings to the table every night like Darryl did.

Although I’m huge on the rebuild train, I’m not opposed to signing Hanifin the way I am the other big 3. He’s quite a bit younger and I think his play style lends itself well to a long career.
I’ve just been advocating we sell because I’m highly skeptical he resigns. I think you entertain offers on him until he puts pen to paper.
