Dallas doesn’t give up much and have been like that all year. They’re a team that can keep games close and that’s what is happening.

Stop acting like they are Arizona or something. They were a 98 point team.

Flames are obviously in a tough spot but far from an insurmountable spot. This isn’t close to being over.

The team has 2 goals from their entire top 9 forwards. If you want to look for the issue - look there.
I said he's not the only reason they lost. Yes, blame the big gun forwards, but sure would be nice for the big ticket goalie to do better as well.

Grr I said last post on this. Anyways, let's see what kind of stones this group has.

73 and 58 need to pick up their #### and start playing hockey.

58 so many give aways . Like christ Oliver get your #### together.

73 needs to get that shot under control. Missed nets galore and couldn't make a pass or take the puck away.Might of been huge for the Canadians last play offs but It's not like the Canadians had a very difficult path to the stanley cup. Pretty much all the Canadian teams fully sucked last year.

Dallas is by far the weakest team in the playoffs.
And Florida also choking won't make it feel any better anyway.

For all the bluster about how much he gets in other teams' heads - he sure seems to allow them to get in his as well.
His playoff career as a Flame has been a horror show. He’s a way bigger issue than Johnny. The guy just can’t bring it in the playoffs.

You win one game and the series is tied. No sense looking at needing to win 3 of 4. One game and we get home ice back. Settle down with claiming things are done. I believe in this team and I am confident we will win the series.

Look at how many goals we've scored in the series then tell me our issue is goaltending.

Looks like were due for a series win then since the team that wins game 2 wins like 67% of the time or something like that

I’m not giving up yet and still believe in this team, a lot of penalties called especially in the beginning of the game. I hope Tkachuk is okay and agree he shouldn’t be fighting, team needs him.

This is the playoffs and they need to figure out how to play or it will be over quick.

Come on Flames, we can do this!

Again just because Oetinger is playing out of his mind DOES NOT MEAN that Markstrom is playing poorly.

4 goals in 3 games.

That should be enough to win at least 2 games no?

Those of us who have been fans forever know deep down inside that this team isn’t going to win 3 of the next 4 games against the Stars. Sure basically every other franchise not named the Maple Leafs go down 2-1 in series all the time and end up winning. Not this team though, Sutter or no Sutter this team is just plain haunted. We get out of the first round once a generation and I guess it hasn’t been 10-20 years since 2015 yet. I guess that’s how it goes being a Calgary Flames fan. Maybe they need to move to Houston and give us 10 years to build a new arena and get an expansion team or something and reboot this horrible juju this franchise has left with the city.

Regular Season
Line 1 - elite 2-way line
Lines 2-3 - deep enough to outmatch anyone
Line 4 - physical, intimidating

Playoffs
Line 1 - completely outclassed by Pavelski
Lines 2-3 - no-shows
Line 4 - scored 1/3 of our goals

This series so far is a complete no-show by our top 9 forwards.

I am a big Sutter fan so definitely biased but I don’t blame him. He knows what it takes to win in the playoffs.
I think it’s on the players to prove they want to do what it takes to win in the playoffs. Rather than fight, be willing to get in the crease and take the punishment that goes with getting the greasy goals.

Lots of hockey left but if the Flames bow out, I throw whatever bag of money you need to at Johnny and deal Tkachuk at the draft.

Aside from Klingberg's antics, all I see is Flames getting beaten up. Lucic, Ritchie, Gudbranson and Zadorov have been quiet for the most part.
