They win tomorrow and have home ice again. Not that we expected it to be this way, but the series is not over. We will need to win it in 7. Oil will be sitting there waiting if we do.

Not encouraging, but not over. The franchise is hanging on the next game. Bananas.

First one was tipped by Dube, hard for a goalie to control where it goes.

Second one the guy was in a prime scoring area, an absolute high danger chance. Not his fault nobody took the trailer (Pavelski).

IMO.

Just play hockey, you're top 10 in league scoring. Play hockey for eff sakes.
Tkachuk should go after a goal instead. What a dud

Last post on the topic. Markstrom was the second best goalie tonight, that's how I saw it. It's a tight series and a a tight game. In the one game where both teams actually scored, markstrom was no-contest not the goalie who gave his team the best chance to win. He's not the only reason they lost, but he's paid to be a guy that leads this team.
I agree he was the 2nd best goalie but he still did his job.
"he's paid to be a guy that leads his team" is just cliche.

The team has 2 goals from their entire top 9 forwards (from the same guy). If you want to look for the issue - look there.

The Panthers are getting curb stomped as we speak

Could it be the Flames have become distracted by the physicality from the Stars players?

The last goal rebound was 100% on Andersson, not Markstrom

These are the teams that have played the most playoff series in the last 3 years:

9 TBL
8 BOS
7 VGS
7 NYI
6 DAL
6 CAR
6 STL
6 COL
6 MTL

This is a veteran team that knows how to paly in the playoffs.

Seems that's how you get Tkachuk off his game.
For all the bluster about how much he gets in other teams' heads - he sure seems to allow them to get in his as well.

So disappointed seeing the exact thing I feared going into these playoffs.

I said a month ago that the team just didn't look right, and was told by many they'll turn it up once in the playoffs.

Well that certainly hasn't happened yet, and if they don't win on Monday we're in huge trouble.

Sportsnet trolling us fans after the loss.. I seen on their ticker flames are 2-11 all time when going down 2-1 in a series.

The only question left to be answered is whether the Flames will win a game to make it interesting

I am not surprised. Playoffs are tough. Dallas is playing well. This team is facing its first challenge all season.

Totally. How do you leave Pavelski a clear lane to skate right up the centre on the goalie?

You can't blame the guy when he's given up 4 goals in 3 games.

I'm surprised this is even a discussion point.
Are you serious? The panel won’t stop talking about Oetinger. He is the story of the series. Playoffs is all about goaltending. You need your goalie to get hot and shut the door in these tight games.

We are losing all the matchups in this series…including in the net.
