Being able to check your auctions on the new armory page is pretty awesome too.

83.5 here....about 10 hours played I think. Kudos to you and your guild Komskies, there is no way I could have that kind of dedication.

What is better for the 83.5-85 grind? I just zipped down to Uldum last night, was thinking either there or Twilight Highlands.

Stay in Uldum until 84 and then move to Twilight Highlands once you hit 84.

Edit: If you haven't quested Deepholm yet, I would consider doing that. You essentially have to quest the entire zone to unlock the Therazane rep vendor, which you will need to get exalted with for the best shoulder enchants. You'll have to do it eventually so you may as well do it now while you still get experience for it.

For questing I really recommend getting the WoW pro addon. It tells you step by step what do to for questing an entire zone, and it's up-to-date with Cataclysm content.

Yea I've completed both Vashjir and Deepholm in their entirety, and have .5 to go until 84.

Looking on Atlas loot I noticed that Therazane would be a requirement to get shoulder enchants, so I made sure to get that taken care of.

Another thing, do you think it is worth it to start the Hyjal quests just to get to friendly rep in order to get the tabard, followed by the rep items? Or is that a waste of time?

Not a waste of time at all. It only takes about 10-12 quests into Hyjal before you unlock the tabard.

Depending on which class you play you may want to find which rep offers the appropriate helm enchant and champion that one first.

Good call. Might as well unlock the instance area while I'm there too.

I enjoyed HK Lich King attempts and being part of the server-first kill. I loved the fact that we were able to kill Mu'ru pre-nerf back in TBC. I like that in Ulduar my 10-man group had the US 6th Mimiron hard mode kill (pre-nerf also), the World 1st Vezax kill without a Paladin healer, and that we killed Algalon almost 3 months ahead of the 2nd place guild on our server.

While I immensely enjoy leveling new characters, the true replay value for me in this game is being on the leading edge of new content. I rushed to 85 because I like playing this game for the end-game content. I'm gearing my Hunter up in heroics right now so I can be ready to try the new raids on the weekend.

Sounds pretty fast - I wonder if the hardcores are complaining it's too easy?

I feel like the quests reward too much experience, but it isn't really any easier or harder than in the past.

The heroic level 85 dungeons on the other hand are quite challenging. The issue right now seems to be a combination of figuring out the new boss mechanics, needing to CC trash as it hits extremely hard, and healers running out of mana. It's nice to not be able to faceroll the new heroics. It's also nice because it will be quite a while before you see PUGs running the new raids.

Good. About time heroics were hard again.

Also, still don't want to play. HAH! TAKE THAT BLIZZARD! I'LL NEVER CAVE!

Suit yourself. It sucked me back in and I've been having fun with my worgen fury warrior (level 22 now). I imagine I'll keep playing for another few months and then quit again. It's fun seeing old zones reshaped and broken up.

No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I will not give up my life again. I've made to many compromises already, to many days given up. It eats up my social life, and I kept playing. It absorbs entire days of my life and I kept playing.

The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done!

Haha, that's a good point. He keeps taunting himself by reading this thread. Blaster, you need to learn how to do things in moderation. The game is very casual friendly and you can invest as little time as you want into it and still enjoy it. If you're one of those people who picks up something and goes 100% into it...then maybe it's best you keep fighting it!

Westfall and Redridge both have such amazing storylines now. New Deadmines and new SFK are both really fun. And Stockades is a LOT less boring now.

Darkshire is kind of bleh - similar stuff, but more efficient (no more running to Jitters to hand in one continuation).

Barely started the grind to 85 on my 80's, just having way too much fun on my lowbie! However, I did quest a bit in the new zones and the population has thinned out a bit, which is really really nice.

The hardcores don't tend to complain about the levelling process. They'll start to complain when they do some raiding, and beat content the second or third time through.

Games like WoW suck to play casually. End-Game raiding or bust.

You might be interested to know that the top 10 guilds in the world have 10/12 raid bosses available killed, and 4 of them have 11/12. Normal mode only, mind you, but it's impressive how quickly that they got raiding.

Not at all.

The real question is which ones get banned for finding an 'exploit' in Blizzard's unfinished product.
