Apparently the birds aren't getting through to you. I provided my google search, and is verifiable for others, will provide the same search result. It's not being fed to me because I spend my days searching Google for this stuff. I searched using Cliff's post as a basis, because I was looking to see if there were counter opinions. It was a top result. Yes, I should have looked at the author. But subsequent searches, as I posted showed that there are many who hold the opinion, and use examples to indicate Cliff's point was counter to the views of others.
Now if you would kindly go #### yourself, that'd be awesome. The next time you try to paint me as an anti-semite, I will be reporting you. I rarely do that, but I'm not going to sit here and have you smear feces around every day when I've repeatedly explained myself. Maybe a time out will get through to you, since the birds aren't.

There are no "good guys" in this conflict.
Iran? Bad guys.
US? Bad guys.
Israel? Bad guys.
The only good guys are the innocent civilians and kids being murdered by the bad guys.

Taking heat for blowing up schools and murdering innocent school children? Worried about the optics of obliterating hospitals and committing serious war crimes? Don’t worry, just make up a false narrative to justify your villainy! Your fans and base will love it.

I get it, and unfortunately there's a ton of misinformation running rampant that will generally match your interests or subjects.
I have X open right now and this is the "recommended" on the account I searched with yesterday
Multiple tweets on OpenClaw. Claude and AI
A bunch of storys about Ben Gvir being dead as well as Netanyahu
Tel Aviv had a rough day with the city destroyed
List of countries that stand with Iran
Khamenei's son already dead
Iran football girls sending SOS
Iran has destroyed all of the US radars and missiles are on their way to destroy Israel
Body of David Barnea found
I open up a different account
Modi speech (I have no idea why)
Everything else AI related
Nothing about Iran, Israel, American politics, Canadian politics because I use that account solely for posting about AI
On another account it's full of updates for the Ukraine war and pro-Ukraine stories.
I maintain that if you don't go searching for topics that is prone by interests to misinform you or looking for misinformation (whether you actively know it is or not), you won't be hit with it (and if you do, just be wary of the sourcing). Because I searched for Ben Gvir and dug through those accounts, I'm now hit with a wave of continuous extreme antisemitic misinformation because the algorithm thinks that's what I want. But because I also searched about the Iran protests when they were happening, I have remnants of solidarity against the Iranian regime. It also appears this is the account I used to search about OpenClaw.
So even though you clearly weren't searching for anything related to Ben Gvir, you are being fed information such as this because of past interests or searches may have led you to be fed this info. That's why we have to be mindful of the attempts to misinform.
Sometimes a social media refresh / reset is wise if the info you are getting is suspect to prevent being the victim of fake news, and it can happen to all of us.

Accounts that constantly post Fox News links as legit sources, even though Fox has openly admitted they’re not news, but entertainment, and even though Fox has been sued for huge amounts of cash for peddling and admitting to peddling disinformation/lies, might be wanna be quiet on the topic.

This from a guy who loves to label people as Nazis amongst other things. Maybe don't go around giving antisemites accolades such as calling them experts and sharing their opinions.

Ruwais Refinery in the UAE has been shut down due to drone strike(a). Outputs almost 1 million barrels per day.
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle...ne-2026-03-10/
For the economists here, why is the price of oil decreasing, while the Strait of Hormuz is closed, and refineries are getting lit up?

I'm not an economist, but a refinery betting blow up could actually put less pressure on the price of oil. There are fewer buyers for crude with that refinery off line.
BUT....it could certainly put upward pressure on the cost of refined products like gasoline.
The net result is that it'll cost more to fill your tank...which I think means we can start to care about the Epstein files again?

But that gasoline is only sold locally(ish). Gasoline is not shipped halfway around the world for consumption.

The downwards price trend is multifold:
1. Market is betting on Taco like behavior.
2. Trump repealed sanctions on Russian Oil, India already bought 30 million barrels.
3. NATO countries are talking about releasing strategic reserves to float the market.
But the really interesting thing for us is the WCS differential. It is delayed, but it may have crossed WTI for the first time ever... Waiting to see if that's true lol.
WCS is heavy, and can offset the Iranian oil in China for example.

Iran has begun laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s most important energy chokepoint that carries about one-fifth of all crude oil, according to two people familiar with US intelligence reporting on the issue.
The mining is not extensive yet, with a few dozen having been laid in recent days, the sources said. But Iran still retains upward of 80% to 90% of its small boats and mine layers, one of the sources said, so its forces could feasibly lay hundreds of mines in the waterway.

This U.S. administration are such incompetent dumbasses. They clearly went into this thinking it was gonna be over in a couple of days. Now that they’ve created this giant f***ing mess, they’re just flailing at this point and have no idea how to proceed. This situation is obviously not going to improve any time soon, and will likely continue for at least several more weeks, if not months. What an absolute clown show.

The irony is that by declaring that the Iran War was "very complete" by the dumbass to calm the markets and oil prices, Iran saw that as a weakness and called his bluff.
Turns out TACO doesn't work all the time when he isn't holding all the cards as he thinks

It's especially ridiculous as Iran seemed to be crumbling on its own. Now the US has entrenched themselves in this chaos. It would have been one thing (although also likely ill advised) to make a tactical strike or two to help out the protestors, but starting an open war was bound to end in failure.
