The rest of the guys haven't been standouts as freshmen/sophmores, and likely benefit from another year (and gives the Flames another year to see if they are worth signing).
As fun as it has been to follow this thread this year, next year likely has another 3 or 4 drafted players to follow + Mews/Potter for a full year (knock on wood).

I agree completely, they should not rush Reschny, Wyttenbach, Potter or Mews. Let them have great seasons, play in the WJC, if eligible, and then make the jump to pro the year after.

Nice to see Jamieson get a goal. He is my go to dark horse prospect.
In both his WHL seasons and his NCAA season, he puts up even strength goals. Hes clearly not looked to be the goto power play / offensive guy but he has good steady quiet production.
12 of his 14 goals in his last WHL season were even strength. All 7 of his goals this year are even strength.
I don’t get too excited about defenceman until i can actually watch them, but I think Jamieson is one to watch.

McKenna is now 2nd overall, 9 points behind Wyttenbach (4 fewer games played).
They are also still the only two players in the NCAA scoring above a 1.50 Pt/G pace.

Crazy how many people questioned him because he didn't tear up the NCAA right out of the gate. The kid is for real.
