Ya, sure you entered the thread with the intention to post that Vegas won? No, you had to point it out in response to MathGod’s post. Totally different. Odd you
haven’t posted any of the other winners today since you were just casually posting teams that won in an OOT.
Yes all day. 28 posts in the Weegar thread! All of em obviousities. Chronic.

do you? besides you said "about to pass" which is even more wrong
On track would suggest points pace, which favours...you guessed it, the Knights win or lose tonight
Don't worry Top5 will give you a thank because he hates me so much he will thank wrong information rather than agree with me lol

If the Wings had beaten the Knights in regulation, Vegas would have 70 points in 62 games now. The Oilers have 68 points in 62 games. There was no possible outcome of tonight's games that would put the Oilers ahead of Vegas.
As it is, Vegas now has 72 points. Vegas is four times as far ahead of Edmonton as Edmonton is ahead of Seattle – and Seattle still holds a game in hand.
I should have thought a ‘mathgod’ could handle that kind of simple arithmetic.

In this particular case, it means you are extrapolating a trend from a single data point. Which, in mathematics, is an absolute no-no.

It would take a concussion, dementia, dehydration and a week without food in the desert to enter into a stratosphere where agreeing with you had a 0.0000000000000000000000001% chance of happening.
I’m delighted that every time you see my thanks to someone else’s posts you feel triggered.

You are the 5 year old that won't admit you called a game before it ended and were wrong about them being on track because you were being dramatic about the Oilers.

You are the one thanking erroneous information and being wrong about most things on CP in general so its okay with me.

Who the hell cares. Millions of people before and millions after will call a game before it ended. In fact millions per day put money on a call (you do for sure) before the game has even started!! How dramatic!

So in other words, you are plotting a trend based on one data point – just as I said. Which is something you can never do in mathematics.
Then, to make it even sillier, you based it on a hypothetical data point – Vegas losing tonight – which never even happened. That's like drawing your own imaginary point on the graph just so you can make the curve go where you want.

In other words he was worried about it happening, which is fine...but don't get into an argument on the Math when its wrong lol. Oilers haven't gained ####...well one point in the last 10 while Vegas has been terrible.

I’m already aware from all of our previous interactions that there’s zero point in responding with background on those two examples because you’ve never proven you’ve executed reading comprehension and it’s always been a massive waste of time so I’ll just have a huge laugh at the fact that you’ve missed the obvious subtext and points that were made in those. Way too high level for you at the second step of the ladder.

‘Obvious subtext’, in this case, would appear to mean ‘things I didn't say but expect you to assume that I said in order to make me look better’.

If you don’t get it, why would I care? There’s 10,000 other posts everyone else scrolls past to read. I’m not dumbing everything down for the kindergarteners.
