The writing might be on the wall for Mangiapane's NHL career. I see him making a move to Europe. His skillset probably works better over there.

I hope Mangiapane ends up somewhere like Columbus and completely turns it around

Don't we hope that nobody picks him up so the Greasers get stuck with his salary still?

I always thought bread would be a good fit in a team like Carolina. Hopefully he stick around in the NHL.

Yeah....my guess is they have had zero interest in Mangiapane....now if he clears they open up 900K in salary room.

I agree or alternatively they have had interest with only a asset attached and Edmonton is doing there due diligence to verify no interest without an asset. I hope it costs them a 2nd to move on.

Mangiapane had a good 30 game stretch

He profited from that ever since

Good for him

Wonder if he can stay on his skates now

To think how disappointed people were when the Flames only got Mangiapane signed for 3 years at that 5.83 price tag instead of 6.

I hope the oilers have to give up picks to get rid of a guy they signed 8 months ago.

Then I hope they give up more picks to add at the deadline.

Then I hope they miss the playoffs.

Just another shrewd off-season move by the cup contenders to get them over the top.

His NHL career is destined to become toast at some point.

Bring him home Craig (in a trade -- make 'em pay). Coleman replacement on Backlund's line.

Another year on that contract. If nobody grabs him, the Oilers might have to carry a buyout on the books for next season too.
