#11 Cornell (17-7-1) upsets #5 Quinnipiac (24-5-3) by a score of 6-1. Wyttenbach gets no points, and was -4, but still holds on to the NCAA scoring lead (by 8 points!), with 33gp/21g/30a/51pts,+17, 14 PIM.

Harvard (13-11-2) falls to Union (18-10-2) by a score of 4-1. No points, and a -3 for Lane in the loss. 27gp/5g/6a/11pts,-3, 14 PIM.

Merrimack (15-13-1) is defeated by Maine (14-12-3), 5-3. No Hoskin for Merrimack, but he is still tied for 66th in NCAA scoring, with 26gp/8g/19a/27pts,+1, 10 PIM.

All zeroes for Lipinski on the winning side. 26gp/3g/7a/10pts,+4, 31 PIM.

St.Cloud State (16-16-0) goes the distance with #3 North Dakota (23-7-0), tying them at 4-4. Reschny picks up 1a, and was even, putting him in a tie for 66th in scoring, with 27gp/4g/23a/27pts,+8, 14 PIM.

Littler gets no points in the above contest, and was -1. 29gp/4g/7a/11pts,+4, 26 PIM.

Wiebe picks up 2a, and was +2, putting him in a tie for 13th in scoring by D, with 31gp/4g/19a/23pts,+6, 6 PIM.

#6 Penn State (18-9-1) destroys Ohio State (11-16-1) by a score of 11-4. Misa gets 2g, 1a, and was even in the win. 29gp/7g/9a/16pts,+1, 0 PIM, with 14 points in his last 12 games.

Maine (15-12-3) defeats Merrimack (15-14-1) by a score of 5-2. No Hoskin for Merrimack.

Lipinski gets 1a, and was even in the loss. 27gp/3g/8a/11pts,+4, 31 PIM.

#3 North Dakota (23-7-1) beats St.Cloud State (16-16-1), by a score of 6-4. Wiebe gets 1g, 1a, and was +3, to tie for 9th in scoring by D, with 32gp/5g/20a/25pts,+9, 6 PIM.

Reschny picks up 1a, and was +1, to tie for 64th in scoring with 28gp/4g/24a/28pts,+9, 14 PIM.

Littler did not play.

After being the least talked about piece in the Andersson trade, would be great if we look back on Wiebe being the best part long term. One thing notable to me is he’s putting up points, but one of the few NCAA top D point producers with good size. With the exception of Norlin, the majority of the top scoring dmen are small. Nothing wrong with that, but I do think it’s important to have some size on the backend.
