It's very possible that I don't remember the timeline correctly but I think there was little to no ongoing investigation into Epstein after he was released from jail. How do you objectively listen to Trumps speech and not walk away thinking anything but an old man in degenerative cognition rambling about nothing? What part of that speech was inspiring at all? If you won't believe his own MAGA drones than why even bother having a conversation? Trump himself has said himself on multiple occasions that people need to move on and forget the files... I'm not questioning anything regarding this Trump term. The claim was that Trump 1.0 (2017 to 2021) shutdown the Epstein investigation and that doesn't appear to be factual.

I could be uninformed, but I don't recall any of the presidents in my life time having the FBI director so entrenched in his entourage and party the way Patel is with the Trump administration. I think any time you see Trump insisting the FBI take over from local law enforcement agencies, especially when the investigation involves Trump, it's pretty obvious that they are obstructing justice. Whether you want to call that technically "shutting it down" is a pointless debate.
