Sounds to me a lot like someone who's mental health issues were overwhelming, and they were pushed over the edge by feelings of society not accepting them for who they are. Huh. Maybe we should keep ostracizing them. I suspect that's the road to enlightenment.

Definitely mental health issues. Quite easy to see that.
How do you know this person was not accepted for who they are?

Do you wake up in the morning and ponder how you can demonstrate a complete and utter lack of reading ability? Because those quotes say exactly that.
Can we have, like, an IQ check before you can have a CP account?

Seems like an attempt to ostracize me from CP.
Not a good look.

Also a morality and purity test? Might as well just anoint you as the supreme authority here so that you can craft the community to what you desire.

I really cherish how they told on themselves with that comment.
Brilliant.

You don’t have to worry about that or any additional tests if they implement an IQ test.

Back to the topic at hand.

For one, it's that the person didn't feel accepted for who they were.
How would one know? By reading the very post you quoted.
If you don't understand the difference between what was actually posted and the question you asked, that's on you. If you know the difference and asked the question you did, why do you feel the need to discuss things in bad faith? Be better.

If someone has a severe mental illness and doesn’t want help, they might be grasping for anything to justify their actions and behaviour. I wouldn’t jump to blaming the victims here. But we will ever fully know, since most of the people involved are dead.

It's interesting to see how some people in society spend more time and effort discussing a shooting incident involving a trans person versus some random straight white guy.
I guess when politicians blame trans and immigrants for things it does really rub off on citizens.

Nothing wrong with putting more time and effort into discussing and trying to understand a marginalized group of individuals.
A little effort can go a long way.

So why don’t you put in the effort when it doesn’t involve an extreme criminal act of violence?
All you ever do is post and share stories about the group at their worst, make demeaning comments towards them, or post about children’s genitals. That’s not “trying to understand.” It’s being a disgusting, bigoted weirdo.

Naw. We should go after the guns while ignoring the aforementioned mental health.
