They get to the puck quicker. Canada seems to go up ice quickly when they do get odd skater rushes.

So we can critique men's hockey, but not women's? A wee bit of a double standard. Just because it's a gold medal game doesn't mean there can't be sloppy hockey. The same would apply to many Flames games.

i remember in Pyeongchang, they played 20 minutes 4 on 4 in the huge ice and neither team could muster up a chance.

IDK about the US being "Quicker." The Canadian ladies seem to have been winning most 1 on 1 races, while the US girls seem to play "Heavier." As far as the boarding. Yes, good initial call, but, I am unfamiliar with international rules, so I am not sure what they were looking at on replay. Looked like more of being an awkward distance from the boards than actually driving her in with huge force, or riding her all the way in.
Knight's tip was as pretty as a tip as I've ever seen, elevated and through the legs.
Edit: The women already seem small on the international surface, 3 on 3, seems like it would be playing water polo in an ocean.
