I wonder with the talent gap closing as the game is growing, both between the different teams but within rosters themselves we will see a trend towards structures that utilize a greater talent pool rather than focus on individuals that I think was more prevalent in the early days.
The MPP's will always rise to the top though.

USA clearly getting the better possession but Canada knows they're the inferior team overall and are mucking and clogging it up exactly how they need to in order to win the game. Will be interesting to see if they can hang on.

I'm harping on it but there are so many bad clears with full control. Either make a good pass or lob it out. Don't hand it over.
