Came across an interesting question about some of the guys in the Epstein files being accused of being pedophiles. If they’re not really guilty then why aren’t they suing for defamation? You’d think Trump, Musk, Lutnick, Gates, Clinton, et al would be making it publicly known that they’re taking people to court for this. I mean, at least that’s what I would think someone would do if they’re innocent.

Who would they sue ? The files were released and people are making assumptions on who they / what they represent .

But you can’t sue an email. And the only person who can validate or invalidate is dead

People are openly calling out Trump et gang as pedophile child rapists. I don't think it is being done exclusively by anonymous people, and they can clearly subpoena social media companies if they want. It's just a little bit weird that they're not trying to take any legal action. I'd suspect that if somebody came onto an anonymous forum and blasted your real name and made claims of rape, you'd probably want to get it taken down and then find a way to take some legal action against whoever it was to clear your reputation.

Hundreds of thousands were arrested around the world and tens of thousands were executed. And that is not including extrajudicial activities like in the Netherlands where suspected collaborators were rounded up in wagons and shamed, beat, spit at, had their heads shaved, etc.

This is very misleading. Yes the repercussions of collaborating with a foreign occupation force are traditionally ugly, but this is equally true whether we're talking about people who collaborated with the US in Afghanistan or people who collaborated with Germans in France.

If the US takes over Canada before their regime collapses, it's very likely Canadian collaborators would suffer worse than fascists inside the US.
