Historically, underdogs have won 5 out of 14 Super Bowls when facing opponents favored by more than four points.

Who ya got in the Pro Bowl games?

jk, couldn't pay me to watch that if I was in the hospital in a full body cast, and it was the only thing shown on a 14" CRT tv 10 metres away from my bed.

Hundreds of millions of people loving college sports is Trump-level lying lol. The highest rated college football game ever (35.6 million) rates lower than the regular season Thanksgiving games for the NFL. But the whole point of my pitch is to improve the quality of the NFL, so my concern with protecting college football is nil.

And, IMO, if you cut out the guys who are using college as a time waster just to fulfill the three-year rule I think college football would become better. What it would lose in talent I think it would gain in a better, more consistent structure.

Anyone watch the Pro Bowl Games? Me either.

Pro Bowl Games hit a record low 1.9 million viewers

Bring it back to Hawaii or just get rid of that ####.

Seahawks should win this easily. The Sam Darnold experience is a real wildcard but as long as he doesn't remember he's Sam Darnold then Seattle should be fine. Seahawks by double digits, game's over by halftime

I don't think anyone would be that shocked if the Pats won.

Wouldn't even be the biggest upset of the playoffs. Niners were +5.5 against the Eagles, Patriots are +4.5 here.

He’s the wildcard here. Darnold doesn’t scare me. Most turnovers in the league this year, no? Pats defense is terrific. I’m not expecting a win, but feeling big time 2001 vibes this year. Special teams, defense and Maye playing his first nice weather game in over a month.

It's weird because nearly everyone is picking Seattle to wih but almost exclusively in a close game. Well, except for Pat Surtain.

How are we defining close? Most of the picks for Seattle I see are 27-17, 31-20, something like that. I guess that's close-ish, but a 27-17 final could be a 24-3 game that ends up 27-17 and that's not close at all. Also, I don't think we often see anyone going out on a limb with a Super Bowl pick that is a 38-14 or 31-10 pick in basically any year.

The history really favors the Underdog in this point spread range. Two weeks to prepare and no real outside distractions with the staff should be an advantage for the Patriots. I'll go with them to win 19-10.

I'm still stinging from having barely missed on my Pats vs Rams Super Bowl pick going into the playoffs, sooo close! I had Rams winning it too, my bracket is screwed.

I guess I'm going Seahawks. But this one is a tough call.

I'm picking Seattle to win by a 32-17 score. Sam Darnold gets the MVP.

Hawks by 20+ pts.

Lets say 36-13

Ugh.

I think we see something like SB 48.

Hawks by at least 14, likely more.

Pats are incredibly lucky to be here. I can't remember the last time I've seen a team get this easy a schedule followed by every break imaginable in the playoffs.
