Wyttenbach had one last shift at the end of the 3rd, but they were hemmed in the defensive zone. I does look like they were just resting their top players, but you wouldn't know it with how dominant Quinnipiac was.

Jan.30th:

#11 Denver (14-11-2) squeaks by #7 Minn. Duluth (17-9-0), by a score of 4-3. Jamieson gets 1a, and was +2, for 28gp/6g/9a/15pts,+6, 37 PIM, he is tied for 32nd in scoring by D.

#2 Michigan St. (19-5-0) defeats #5 Penn St (18-6-0) by a score of 6-3. Misa gets 1a, but was -1 in the loss. 25gp/4g/8a/12pts,+2, 0 PIM.

#6 Quinnipiac (19-5-2) destroys St.Lawrence (3-20-3), 7-0. Wyttenbach gets 2a, and was +2. 27gp/14g/24a/38pts,+12, 8 PIM. He is 2 points away from being tied for first in NCAA scoring.

Harvard (11-8-1) downs Rensselaer (6-18-0) by a score of 3-1. Lane gets 2a, and was +2. 21gp/5g/4a/9pts,-1, 14 PIM.

Merrimack (12-12-0) gets by New Hampshire (11-12-0), 2-1. Hoskin picks up 1a, and was even. 24gp/6g/17a/23pts,-2, 10 PIM, tied for 61st in NCAA scoring.

#6 Quinnipiac (20-5-2) and Clarkson (11-14-2) end up tied 3-3. Wyttenbach gets 1g, 2a, and a +1, to take over first-place in NCAA scoring, with 28gp/15g/26a/41pts,+13, 8 PIM.

Merrimack (13-12-0) and New Hampshire (11-13-0) end up tied 3-3. Hoskin is all zeroes. He is tied for 71st in NCAA scoring, with 25gp/6g/17a/23pts,-2, 10 PIM.

I was hoping Lane would do a little bit better. I had him as a dark horse. Maybe he doesn't get much ice time though?

He's one of three 18 year olds on the roster of a low scoring team loaded with players 21+. He mostly played in the high school ranks last season, so the NCAA is a pretty big step.

Lane was always going to be a project, and its hard to play a physcial, power forward style against much bigger stronger men.

Think you just have to let things play out and see where he's at towards the end of his junior season.

#14 Dartmouth (16-6-10 gets by Harvard (12-9-1), 3-1. All zeroes for Lane. 23gp/5g/4a/9pts,-2, 14 PIM.

#18 Maine (14-10-2) gets upset by Boston U (12-13-2) by a score of 3-2. Lipinski gets 1a, and was even. 23gp/3g/6a/9pts,+3, 31 PIM.
