I don't know about that, it's a bullseye on the no goodness.
"Lollygagging (wasting time, dawdling) in German is most commonly translated as trödeln (to dawdle), herumlungern (to lounge around), or faulenzen (to laze around). Other common colloquial expressions include seine Zeit verplempern (to waste time) and rumbummeln (to stroll around/dawdle)."
*rumbummeln might be how Bouchard is in his own zone...

He's not wrong but I'm pretty sure going off on your coaches and goalies isn't going to create more problems than it will solve.
It's pretty shocking how bad they are and this is from a team that has never been great defensively. At least in the last couple of years they were somewhat serviceable. When you're watching this Flames team get chance after chance on poor reads and turnovers like that you know more than one thing is rotten in the basket.

I find both DraiSelke and Mavi fascinating. How many coaches and goaltenders have the two of them been through since the start of their careers?
They take zero ownership or accountability for the defensive side of the puck, even though they are on the ice for typically almost half the game........its mind blowing.

Who would trade anything significant for a soon to be 31 year old, $14 millions for another 7 years Pissy?
A GM who knows he's going to get fired long before those 7 years are up.\
Which is probably most of them.

‘You see in Calgary, [Ryan] Huska is no joke. It’s good. He’s really set on a specific model defensively. If you can be reliable, you have the freedom to play offence.’

There would be plenty of teams who would lineup to acquire draisaitl. No doubt.
Yes, he is not worth 14 mil but he does produce a ton of points. If your team doesnt suck to the core, he would be a useful piece.
The oilers suck everywhere, it doesn't matter who they add because it wont fix the root problem. But it also means that good players there are likely still good players elsewhere.
It's just so great that the Oilers and their fans get to think about this match and their precarious playoff hopes for the next couple of weeks. What a way to send them off into the Olympic break!

There was an interesting discussion today on Kyper & Bourne about Drai’s comments. Kyper thought that they would make Pissy look like a coach-killer and that such comments should have only been made behind closed doors. In keeping with that, of course, neither mentioned the fact that he took zero responsibility and threw everyone else, starting with Knob, under the team bus.
They DID note that Jarry referred to the team as “they”.
