And in general, everyone was doing really well ignoring the Dre poster too. I saw him fishing for a reaction all week but nobody responded until I think today. He's incredibly persistent, I'll give him that... His 3rd or 4th shot got the reaction he wanted.

You are correct that if a deal was finalized and sent to the league for approval, he couldn’t play. But the fact that the Flames are dressing 7 D tells me that the organization feels that a deal might be finalized before the end of the game.

We have to remember that even nearly done deals can hit snags. Like, Iginla to Boston was reported, people thought it was done. And then he was traded to Pittsburgh.

That’s what I was thinking too, Craig is tired of being pushed around, meet his price or status quo. Again, I respect the approach, this will only help future trade negotiations and Ras is a beauty, not worried in the slightest.
