I mean, not only would it be bad for the Flames but I can't imagine teams that have spent time/effort in bidding for him would be happy for it all to fizzle because he gets hurt. Obviously they luck out but still, this is a player they want so...

Pretty hard to rationalize playing him when a bunch of different sources are talking about advanced negotiations and final bids.

Especially when Huska played him 27 minutes the other night - if he’s in I don’t think he’ll be hesitating to play him. Outsized risk for very little upside in my view.

If this is a situation where Ras is agreeing to a 7 year extension but wants to play one more home game in Calgary before the trade goes through, I doubt anyone is worried about him getting hurt. Everybody must be on board with it or he wouldn't be dressing.

Either that or nothing if finalized yet or even close to be finalized.

My guess is it's probably still the Boston deal from last night.

But with Lohrei's sister on a family trip, and Andersson's request for one last home game both teams agreed to let them play and then make the trade after today's games

This is very correct. There is definitely plenty of smoke but my source today said its not finished and the end is still 'open ended'. His camp is very busy right now...

I'm on-board the Lohrei, Poitras, 1st return. To me, that's a big W.

I like the potential on Lohrei and what he's already shown (warts and all), plus he kinda looks like Dustin Wolf but stretched out to be taller.

This lines up with what I'm hearing, though its been pretty hectic I'm certainly not getting a ton of updates just that nothings signed and still moving parts and more than 1 team bidding.

I think BOS was close, but perhaps another team has stepped up their offer.
