Poitras and Toronto's 1st.
Bing, bang, boom. Done. Shia-LaBeouf.gif
I can live without Lohrei cause we need a spot for Zayne.

He's a LD, so he'd replace Bean/Hanley

I can’t imagine a deal is imminent if he’s playing. Flames management would be stupid to accommodate a request for one more game if a deal was done. That would be a fireable offence if he got injured.

That would make even less sense. If a dude is about to be locked up, it matters less than if you're bringing in a guy as a rental who then gets hurt.

For those of us looking into a thread for the first time and seeing a gazillion posts about he's essentially been traded...Boston no Washington no here's a horse gif now zoom into a place by the sea....
....what's essentially the coles notes version of what's going on?

I don't know, I feel Lohrei would have helped with the L-R balance though. Would have been a nice addition to Bahl and Kuznetsov, right age too. I probably like Poitras more than others on here, but certainly hoped for another asset along with him. If it's Poitras and a 1st, I'd say it's "just" fine.

I'd do a Hanley - Lohrei swap or at least push for that.
Lohrei, Poitras, Leafs 1st
Andersson, Hanley

Or he wants to play one more game at home. I don't have any other confirmation on Boston but there is enough smoke to believe it is.

100%. Only makes sense if he dresses, takes a lap, and then heads back to dressing room

It'll probably be a good idea to avoid the game day thread today with the amount of hand wringing that will inevitably be going on in there every time Ras is on the ice.

I do not think a 1st + Poitras does it, I think Lohrei will be included, especially as there is an extension attached to this as rumoured by many people at this point

And rightly so. It is very low odds but him being injured badly but would be a genuine fork in the road for the flames, basically losing what sounds like two 1sts for a meaningless game.
But as others have said if the deal isn't close you can't hold him out, it just doesnt work that way and it sounds like a deal isn't close

That sounds like a good reason to read the game thread for once.

Clearly it means something.
He's wondering if he left the stove on.
