I don't see him playing this afternoon as the deal not being done. It's just not done done.

It doesn't make logical sense for Ras to be playing, but it was reported that Ras wanted to play one last time in front of his kids and family, and he's reportedly been playing ball with the Flames to get the best deal for all parties. He's an emotional guy so if that's what he wants as his way to say goodbye (even though it feels like he's been saying goodbye for weeks now) then I can see why the Flames would let him play this game.

IMO the real tell if it is him going to Boston will be what happens between now and their game starting this evening.

His ice time will speak volumes but this may be Ras wanting to play one last time in front of the C of Red.

Ras loves this team and basically grew up in Calgary. Probably some of his best memories are in the city so I am assuming that this was more of Ras's ask then management.

Hope the crowd gives him the chants he deserves, guy has given it all for the team throughout the years.
