maybe those guys should outplay Hunt in the AHL...they are even at best. Hunt getting the odd game doesn't really matter. Honestly none of the guys mentioned matter. If you have a good team its not hard to find a 4th line that can work hard for 10 mins a night

I don't mind a guy like Stromgren getting a few games in the lineup and then a game or two to observe. In any job you learn both by doing and by watching.

Sure but you know those guys are nothing at the NHL level, what benefit is having Kirkland and Hunt in the lineup.

They don't help you win now, they have no role in the future of this org.

Stromgren, Kerins and Morton are guys you developed, why not give him a look.

Lomberg was a guy in a similar situation that couldn't seem to get consistent games as a 22-24 year old in the Flames org.

Maybe if they play him more than 4 games in his final season here he blossoms as an effective role player here instead of Florida.
