Dreger says that many believe Kadri gets traded
He also says that if Conroy gets what the needs from Andersson and Kadri (if he gets traded) trades, that it is unlikely Coleman gets traded. He is downplaying how high Coleman is on trade boards saying the Flames want to keep him.

I'd sooner trade Andersson + Kadri than Andersson + Coleman.
...would sooner trade all 3, but Kadri + Andersson would be my first choice outside of all 3.
I Hope Dreger is right!

In this scenario, assuming Coleman doesn't resign here, we must be trading Coleman next year then right? (rhetorical)

If Rasmus won't re sign, I am assuming his trade value goes way down.

Coleman is also going to be a guy who is still worth a ton next year at the deadline. He's the perfect plug and play playoff piece. Andersson is urgent, Kadri is currently movable and that may change

I can get behind this. Coleman has never had a stretch of disinterest like Kadri seems to have sometimes when the going gets tough.

I’m not sure any insider carries much weight with GM’s.
If Conroy’s open to trading Kadri, it’s probably well known throughout the league. Other GM’s don’t need Dreger or Friedman Or Frank to tweet about it.
Friedman himself once said he figures he hears about 10% of what GM’s actually talk about.

Also more belief on my end that Coleman will still be an asset on the Flames next year that can be dealt.
Kadri? That Father Time bomb is ticking faster, and the back-end of his contract is a risk.
Trade Kadri.
Trade Andersson.
...manage the situation and get a homerun for Coleman if possible, if not, trade him next year.
To Carolina: Nazem Kadri (some retention?)
To Calgary: Jesperi Kotkaniemi + 2027 1st Round Pick+ something else.
To Boston: Rasmus Andersson (some retention?)
To Calgary: Mason Lohrei + 2026 1st Round Pick + something else.

The best would be to trade all three, but I for one like the general vibe that we are moving on from needing to hold on to specific vets for arcane purposes of competing or "culture" or something.

No necessarily, it just puts all teams on equal footing now with respect to a possible bidding war.
If you have both Boston and Detroit in the Atlantic looking at him, they can be played off each other hopefully and then there's the other teams looking to add.
There's no other RD like Rasmus available.

The Leaf’s first and Minten from BOS for rental Ras would be so funny.
I hope that’s the deal.

No not really.
Maybe slightly skewed toward the Flames, but the interested teams have identified Andersson as their priority target as of right now.
Either they get him or move on to the the targets they have ranked as less important.

Of course his trade value is going to go down without an extension. It's wishful thinking otherwise.
Look no further than the two separate rumored deals with the Red Wings (one with an extension one without).

Kadri and Andersson out was my guess all along. I’d be happy with that. Even better if they get Coleman out as well but 2/3 ain’t bad
