Basha with 1g 2a tonight, and 2nd star with a game high 7 shots and 17 for 27 in the face off dot.

Did the Flames accidentally on purpose draft a Center and didn't even know it?

Wouldn't that be so delightfully serendipitous!

If we draft the Ruck twins too, we’d have a ready-made line.

I am guessing the Flames let the Tigers know what position they wanted Basha to play if he went back. The WHL as a 20 year old is a good league to try out being a center.

8 points in his first 4 games, just lightining it up.

To be doing it at center too is pretty exciting, you love to see it!

I’d be surprised if he didn’t light it up after spending almost a year on the wranglers. Hopefully it is a good move

He’s also 62% in the dot. Would be nice to have the option to take draws, even if he’s not a natural center

I'm sure they knew he could, he played Center when Lindstrom went down and did a good job.

I think that Liam will be available in the 20’s of the first-round, but Markus might have to wait a bit- maybe later in the second, early third. Markus is an excellent player in his own right, but he doesn’t drive play the way Liam can, and I wonder how much he feeds off of his brother- even though he outscored Liam on a different line at the Hlinka.

Canadian twins would be better than Swedish twins.

Hey RD,
You seem locked in on the Tigers. Give us some insight on the Ruck twins. Sandman's write up about them has me following them the last few weeks. And I want Connie to grab both of them!

Not to speak for Roof-Daddy, but I watch quite a few Tigers games and the Ruck boys are having a fine season yet again. Liam is the finisher and Markus is the playmaker which makes sense as Liam is the right winger and Markus plays center. I would say that neither of them are the fleetest of foot, but they are very shifty and elusive for defenders to track. Both guys are part of PP1 which has been cooking all season for Medicine Hat and as I posted above, the PP has been even better since Basha's arrival.
Big game tonight in Edmonton versus the Oil Kings, this could be an Eastern Conference final playoff preview.

Just saw this, can echo dashed, they are average size, average speed but very smart and skilled players. Liam drives the play more. They have both taken a much bigger step this year than I had anticipated.
Very interested to see how their draft goes. I think it'd be dumb as hell for NHL teams to draft them separately as they've always played together.

Basha with the shootout winner for the Tigers tonight in Edmonton, but the real star of the game was goalie Jordan Switzer who was the only reason the game even got to OT.

Basha was named third star, despite not registering any points. SO winner though.

Why was the AHL such a wall for him?
I haven't been able to watch much of the Wranglers

WHL = you can play until the year of your 20-year old bday.
AHL = much bigger, stronger, older, faster, less ice time, etc... than even the NCAA and ECHL, which both >> WHL/juniors.
