Me too. Insider status is all the rage these days because of social media. Even if 10% of the top claiming "I'm an insider" guys are being truthful., it's just sooooo much **** to sift through.

Naw. This is a great year to tank. All of the top picks look franchise changing. The Flames will get a haul for Andersson and then tank their way to one of the best draft picks they've ever had.... Trade Kadri too.

Hell it's not even about being happy, the point Cora's making is just stupid. People are happy with Rasmus because he had another strong game, the -3 sucks but outside of the first goal, which he probably drifted out of position a bit which lead to a scrambled play that ended up at the blue line, nothing was directly his fault. He's trying to do this wet blanket thing but just looking dumb while doing it.

The whole stock market thing just sounds cringy too, yeah a game or two isn't going to swing things wildly but if a team is close to a deal some strong outings can certainly seal the deal.

Apparently Chris Johnston was saying earlier that the Flames are not inclined to trade Kadri. It is going to have to be his agent coming to the Flames and asking for a trade.

I know this is just a rumor and all. But how can you possibly be this dumb as an organization? To not sell high on a vet who is clearly going to decline in the next few years and his trade value will never be higher.

Andersson doesn't end up extending with the team he is traded to and heads to free agency.

You then sign Andersson in free agency.

I feel like the flames maybe missed the top value window on kadri already, if there was a chance someone would pay top dollar for him its hard to see that still being the case at this moment with his recent play.

1 point in his last 11 games and he looks lethargic to me.

Im not too bothered about it anyway, I feel like coleman and andersson are likely the more valuable assets right now and maybe he picks it up down the road.

Only thing i dont like is the center position is a bit clogged up with older guys who will not be here when the flames are good again in backlund and kadri. But its not like there's anyone kicking in the door right now anyway. I just wonder if they were to add a player like danielson for andersson how they would find enough ice time in the middle to maximize his development with frost playing well and the two vets towards end of career there eating up big minutes. Big hypothetical anyway

I suspect if the Flames did get Danielson in a trade, Kadri would be on the market the next day. It's a lot easier to trade the guy when you have an NHL-quality centre ready to step into his spot.

So not sure if he’s going to be here long. That opens at least one spot
