Haha, we used to go to Sandpoint and the surplus store was always a must visit. One of the kids bought a bunch of throwing stars, which we threw around the resort. It felt like a normal game at the time...

my father in law is taking my daughter to the womans hockey U-18 here in Sydney today in their fancy private box (he's a professor at CBU and one of the biggest supporters of the schools teams) and Diana Carney will be sharing the box with them. I told her to be polite, call her Misses Carney, and treat her like any other grown up. What a treat for a kid.

The $40-million redevelopment transformed the old Canada Games Complex, which was originally built in 1987, into the Kehoe Forum, which was named after Jim and Roma Kehoe. The facility is fully accessible and supports para and sledge hockey.

Fox Carney said she was impressed by the quality of the rink.

“A place like this, I think, is fantastic in terms of prioritizing women and making a point that women’s hockey is just as important as men’s hockey,” she said.

My band booked studio time this weekend to record our debut EP.
That and we are planning a week long tour of Vancouver Island/Interior BC.
A dream come true.
Hard to get work done I am so excited.

Going on a tropical vacation in 4 more days for two weeks. I have a realtor lined up while I’m down there to view a few vacation properties as well.

Finally had my one year appointment with the surgeon. Said sunce a relatively newish procedure they keep closer tabs. No doctors in Calgary did it until he came along. Said the homograft (cadaver valve) will fail in the first year or so if it is going to fail. It apparently starts to leak quite often and they have to go in again. Can only do that so much.

Been dreading this for a while, no sleep for a week or so and cannot concentrate so i annoy you people to take my brain off of it.

He said it looks perfect and they will continue to monitor for research purposes but said i am likely good for the rest of my life. Said the only thing i should do is start living my life. Hes a goddam beast.

You are stuck with my loser ass bitches!

My father was patient number three to have open heart surgery at the U of A hospital back in the 60’s. They kept him in the hospital for 6 months because they didn’t know what would happen next. He eventually reached his 80th birthday.

My dad had a few way back, it was certainly a long time in the hospital back in the day.

This one is cool, take pulmonary valve which doesnt see much turbulent flow and put that in place of aorta fataed valve that goes in the trash, then some dead persons in the pulmonary. They normally ise a pig valve or mechanical one bit you need blood thinners for life. This ine is a little riskier but is a better quality of life/prognosis if it works.
