You ever watch those fishing shows? Where you're essentially positive that there is some scumbag in scuba gear hooking fish to the hook just so SOMETHING will happen?
Just...how have the Oak Island idiots not just buried something so they can 'miraculously' find it?? Put your goddamned finger on the scale by now!!
I dont understand how they havent cheated by now.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Some of this looks like they maybe have here and there?
Didn't scroll back too far in the thread (so maybe discussed already), but I liked the premise of The Last Frontier so started watching it, seemed to be up my alley. Action drama in Alaska, escaped prisoners etc. Described as a 'neo western', which peaked my interest. First couple episodes ok.
It's been a slog to get through it. I've lost interest about episode 6 or 7 (season 1 was 10 episodes, then cancelled). I find the lead actor (Jason Clarke) about as exciting as Connor McDavid's personality. Just cardboard. I don't recommend it.

The Last Frontier was poor.

It's a reality game show, in the vein of Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race.
23 "celebrity" contestants (I use the term celebrity loosely, D list for sure)
They have to work together to complete tasks and win money. At the end of the game the survivors win the money earned.
There are 4 traitors. They aren't trying to sabotoge the games (as their potential earnings increase by doing well too) but they murder a contestant each night. During the day everyone votes publically on who they think the traitors are.
In the end if all the traitors are voted out, the contenstants (or faithfuls) win. If the traitors are those that remain, then they win.
Really interesting concept. Apparently it was in the UK first, and now this is the fourth season in the US.
I'm watching as Ron Funches is on this season.
Also it's hosted by Alan Cumming

I've never been a fan of medical dramas, but like many of you I got sucked into The Pitt.
So in-between seasons, we started watching ER. 30 years later LOL. I was floored by how well produced this show is and how relevant many of the plotlines still are.
It has to be one of the first times in TV where movie-quality production is being used to make it.
I know it's old, but it's well worth a (re)visit. The amount of talent cycled in/out that show is absolutely insane. I'm only on season 4 and while I do assume the quality will drop over its 15(!) seasons, it's a rarity to see an A-lister like George Clooney every episode.
There's early appearances of people like Ewan MacGregor, Eva Mendes, Kirsten Dunst, Taraji P. Henson, and a kajillion "that guy/gal" type actors. Hell, even throw in a Quentin Taratino directed episode for good measure! Just insane.

Also, The Traitors Canada has both an English and French (Les Traîtres) version and they both have the same host. She is the first person to host the show in two languages.
