Trey Lance time indeed lol. Herbert was ok enough in the first half, but this second half has been a disaster. Pretty disheartening for Chargers fans, game was there to be won if they even got just a meh performance from Herbert

The Chargers play like they loathe Herbert and are actively trying to get him killed. Same way the Vikings treated Carson Wentz.

And now Maye gets blown the #### up. Recovery touchdown was the Chargers only hope there.

The incompetence of this drive has probably ended the game. 2 minutes to get like 35 yards through the air, nobody getting out of bounds... Yeesh.

Gotta agree with Collinsworth in that the two substitutions on this drive have killed the Chargers momentum. Terrible decision making.

Hey now, this is by far their longest drive of the night, lets not be too harsh here.

Fitting end. Chargers don't even need to waste the timeouts, surrender as meekly as you played.

Pats d was great. Some things for Maye to learn. I’ll take the W. Only thing missing was the call from my Dad after the TD. Miss ya, Pop.

To quote Dennis Green, the chargers are who we thought they were. as long as hey have the Spanos stench, they will be garbage.

I couldn't watch but was it actually a poor performance by Herbert or did that offensive line leave him to die on the field like usual?

That game was terrible to watch. Luckily the rest of the weekend had outstanding games.

Herbert has shown to be bad in the playoffs but bad recievers and terrible O line didn't help him tonight

It was a poor performance by Herbert though, clearly. He made a lot of uncatchable throws.

Early lines for the games next week.

San Francisco +7 at Seattle, Total of 45.5, number seems a bit high here, should be closer to 5.5
Buffalo -1.5 at Denver, Total of 46.5. Same as last week Bills open as a short favorite.
LA Rams -3.5 at Chicago, Total of 51.5.

My first reaction is to like the dogs and the unders here. Would take the Seahawks and Rams straight up.

Be interesting to see you much weather will be a factor in Chicago. Looks like it's going to be cold and windy, windchills -15 or colder. I expect the line already reflects this, but that should aid Bears.
